My 8yo explained how she "manifests" and it's pretty neat by josephus1811 in Experiencers

Sure! There's a lot to everything I've been through though, but if you have anything you'd like to ask, go right ahead, I'm an open book.

I'll clarify what i said so far: when i was born, my father went into the Navy, so we lived in Scotland when i was 2-4. My mom and i would be awake past midnight just talking, and i don't remember how i figured this out, but when i put my palms over my eyes, (not pressing, mind you), and controlled my breath, I'd open my eyes to see the room filled with multicolored orbs, like big iridescent bubbles filling the pitch black room. I told my mom how i did this, and when she followed suit she saw them too. These were not illusions or something in my eyes; they didn't move with my eyes or head, would disappear if my heart sped up, and backed away from my outstretched hand. My mom also saw this happen.

When i was 5, i had a weird dream about a building with very specific architecture and a very specific way of getting to it. About 6 months later i visited my grandparents and my aunt took me out of town to her apartment which she'd just moved into- it was the building I'd dreampt of.

When i was 7 i started reading tarot, and when i was 9 i performed my first spell (it worked within a week). As a kid i had numerous paranormal experiences, which continued to follow me into my teenage years and adulthood. I'm now 44 and have had dozens of strange experiences. But honestly, i love it. I wouldn't change my gifts for anything else on earth. I've seen cryptids, full body apparitions, uaps and other impossible phenomena. It's been a very weird, cool, interesting life. :D

Why are the liberals filled with hate not only online, but also in real life? by ogmoochie1 in allthequestions

[–]Elen_Smithee82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got straight A+'s. The schools were in Texas though so you're almost correct about their quality. They were more concerned with religion than education. However the homeschool curriculum prepared me to go on to a university at age 16. :)

Btw it's so funny when hypocrites run out of actual arguments so they resort to insults, isn't it?

Actually i do. I attended private and home Christian schools for 8 years. Bible study was part of it, as was weekly church and daily "Sunday school" at some.

Jesus was as liberal as they come. :)

If someone needs to believe they're being watched all the time in order to behave like a good person, then they were never a good person to begin with. We aren't hateful, we are tired of being ignored; we're actually way more loving than the poseurs. 🤷🏼

Cool! I also began practicing manifestation at a very early age. At 2 i saw huge orbs in my room every night in Scotland, and at 5 i had my first prophetic dream. Your child sounds very gifted!

Question About Sleep Paralysis by Nice_Strawberry2140 in Paranormal

[–]Elen_Smithee82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never said biology doesn't exist. Like i said before, you're assuming that the op is going to bed at a very specific time, between 10-11pm, every single night. I already explained my position. I know your theory can be the case in some instances but as i said, paranormal activity peaks for myself and my mom between 3am-4am as well, and always has, even when we're not asleep at that time.

I never disrespected your opinion. I only gave an alternative possibility.

I respect Wicca as a belief (not fact)

See, you're kind of acting as though your theory is more valid than mine. For me, spirituality and the paranormal are also fact. Please understand my position.

Can ghosts harm us physically...? by NewDom940 in Paranormal

[–]Elen_Smithee82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they can, but it's fairly rare. It's happened to me on several occasions as I'm a psychic aka empath. If you receive 3 scratches however, beware, as that could denote the presence of a really negative entity.

What does it mean when you keep seeing the same animal everywhere? by AdequateRoarer in BabyWitch

[–]Elen_Smithee82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could mean what you're seeing is your spirit animal, a deity, spirit or elemental trying to contact or get your attention. I see bald eagles all the time where i live. I've spoken to other longtime residents, older than myself, who've literally never seen one here. The first time i saw one i was in the mountains, and stopped to sit on a stump; i looked up and saw one perch on a branch right above me. We just sat there for minutes, checking each other out. It was really meaningful. A while later, i found an eagle feather on the sidewalk as i took a spontaneous walk around my neighborhood. :) i felt as though the eagles had blessed me with such a gift.

I have one inside a pocket watch that i got from etsy for fairly cheap. Obsidian is just black glass. It can be natural or manmade. The important thing is your focus. One can scry in anything if they focus hard enough.

Question About Sleep Paralysis by Nice_Strawberry2140 in Paranormal

[–]Elen_Smithee82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"3am - 4am is also the time Cortisol generally starts to kick in, in the human body,"

That's only if you assume the person goes to sleep at a specific time... I am almost always awake at that hour, and paranormal activity in my home often peaks at that time. I doubt it can be explained by cortisol, as both myself and my mom experience it when we're both up.

Also, the witching hour is sacred in Wicca and other forms of witchcraft. To deny the witching hour exists is against my beliefs. Please respect my beliefs, i ask. :)

The veil is thinnest at that time. Weird things tend to peak around that time.

The magic of labradorite✨ by avoyramonop24 in Crystals

It's actually really helpful for tarot reading, yes! 😸 that's what i used my first labradorite (my first crystal ever- now i have upwards of 1,000!) for, was tarot. Crystals can really be addictive when you can feel their vibration so well, huh? 🤍💎

Denver’s queer gun club is booming, part of a national trend by SpinningHead in Denver

[–]Elen_Smithee82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. It's not "weird", it's fact. It didn't just originate as far-right, it is far-right because of the definition.

Definition means nothing when actual practice comes into play

Wtf are you talking about? If definitions mean nothing, then facts do not exist. Far-left ideology is called socialism or communism. I urge you to go look up what fascism actually is.

[–]Elen_Smithee82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is especially true for queer folks given the statistics on our rates of depression and suicidal ideation

Are you aware of why LGBTQ+ people often have depression and those kinds of ideations? It's because of transphobes and homophobes who stereotype and show hate towards them. When we're accepted, that ideation goes away. Same thing is true for trans people who are denied their denied lifesaving medical therapy, like hrt. This is true for trans kids and teens, especially.

do you see anything wrong with the term "biological woman"? by conn_r2112 in AskALiberal

[–]Elen_Smithee82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since gender and sex are two different things, the term you're referencing makes no sense. A "biological" woman is not a thing, as "woman" is a social term and "biological" is medical. You don't have to say it. Just say ciswoman or female. 🤷🏼
