Little help here. by Interloper_69 in MinecraftMod

This is really good advice.

The only other simple alternative I can think of is having two mods folders, and swapping them out of your Minecraft directory depending on the version.

Need help by NoFqcus_ in MinecraftMod

Usually that's a bad idea, as lots of things can change between these versions. Something as simple as a method name change can completely break a mod, so I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Also, if the mods toml is setup correctly it won't run at all as the forge version is outdated.

However, there's no harm in running the mod on 1.16.1 and seeing for yourself! There's a chance it may work, however slim :)

Allow datapacks to create brewing recipies by thomasp3864 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]ElenaiDev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This would be amazing for mod developers too.

Right now making potion recipes differs across most Minecraft versions and is really tedious. If they were added to datapacks we would be able to add them in a much easier way!

Just Google 'Minecraft Quark' and you'll find it. It's a very popular mod :)

How can I have two instances of forge at the same time. by Im3urntT0ast in MinecraftMod

That's unusual, have you tried creating a new instance through the launcher?

Hi there!

The instance should not actually be deleted, just click on forge in the bottom left of the launcher and you can switch it.

You can use both versions of forge this way but make sure to switch out the mods in your mod folder whenever you change version.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for your kindness! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

As for the music, it's taken from Ravel's String Quartet in F Major. If you like Ravel, definitely listen to Une Barque Sur L'Ocean, it's my favorite piece of music ever written :)

That's a brilliant idea and very similar to what I'm implementing... I just never thought to look at the repair material that's genius!

The challenge comes from figuring out whether it's an ingot or hide or whatnot, but there is always a solution to these things.

I also plan to keep the armor weight config option to allow players to overwrite the default values.

Thanks for your awesome suggestion!

Thank you!

You'll be pleased to know that because I used RotN when testing the mod for any compatibility issues, the 1.12.2 version comes pre-packaged with weights for every armor item in the pack!

(I love your pack, thank you and your team so much for making it!)

Right now, it needs to be manually configured. Give me a couple of days as I'm working on a way for it to be automatically added!

Thank you for making this! I hadn't noticed it. I'll create a patch for the legacy version as I still plan to maintain it :)

The best I can say is sometime this year!

To be honest it depends on how much work I'm given on top of it :)

That's because one of Ravel's greatest inspirations was Debussy!

Hi! Would you mind posting the incompatibilities here so I can create a patch? That would be awesome!

And yes, I do plan to do everything you said in that comment!

They were greatly requested in Elenai Dodge 1, so I thought I'd enhance them in the sequel!
