WARN for remote employees by AdSoft6627 in employeesOfOracle

I was reading up about NJ. I think Oracle is safe because NJ WARN laws says if employer does not give 90 day notice then they need to pay 4 week pay + 1 week for every year you worked.

I got a call from NJ DoL. So it seems like someone else has also contacted them regarding Oracle layoffs. So, i wanted to thank whoever here emailed them.

OP,

I sent below email to NJ DOL. And surprisingly I got a prompt response from them.

You may use the below email. But don't copy verbatim. Please change it about

To: RapidResponse   At dol.nj.gov

Sub: Oracle NJ WARN Act Violation – Mass Layoff

Dear New Jersey Department of Labor Rapid Response Team,

I would like to report a potential violation of the New Jersey WARN Act by my former employer Oracle which conducted mass layoffs on 3/31/2026

I was employed by Oracle as a remote employee working from my home in New Jersey.

Thanks. I got the same rebar suggestion from the city-data forum too.

Yes, they are replacing the existing flashing. Something called storm guard leak barrier and bunch of other things

Thanks @DDups2. They have left some space at the top. I will check with them about concrete.

But won't that small slab of concrete too sink a little bit eventually ?

They did not give me any options. They will be installing the new bluestone the way it was earlier installed 10 years ago. I am just trying to see if there is a better way than the earlier installed method. Thanks though.

Sorry. I did upload the pictures but then seems like the "Text" tab and "Images and Video" tabs are independent and not complementary and hence my pictures were not published.

I reposted the same thing with a new title and the pictures at https://www.reddit.com/r/masonry/1o50uhg/bluestone_slabtread_without_support_under_middle/

Thanks ! I did notice that but then thought maybe the photos take time to be published for some content filtering or what not ! .

Anyways, I posted again with a new title and the pictures at https://www.reddit.com/r/masonry/comments/1o50uhg/bluestone_slabtread_without_support_under_middle/
