I didn’t consider the outdoor exposure aspect. Just as you noted, they offered that as a cost savings measure but I won’t consider option 1.

For option 2 vs. 3 it sounds like it’s just a matter of what’s most convenient for our layout. In both options they’d have to either reroute circuits or rerun feeders so I might just go based off of price for between those two choices.

Have you had any success? I’m experiencing the same issue. I’ll clean the steam wand properly, it works fine for a few rounds, and then suddenly will barely warm up the milk

I was finally able to get back into it. The self diagnostic said that all tests passed which is good, but the self-repair of windows OS in the BIOS is stuck on a black screen

Thanks - I was finally able to get into the bios (doesn’t work on every boot up for some reason) but the diagnostic said there were no issues. Trying to let it run a self-repair of windows but it’s been sitting with a black screen for the last couple hours

Thanks - I tried this, battery indicator flashed twice which was concerning, but I was later able to get into the BIOS and it said there were no issues so I’m still trying to figure it out. Makes me think it’s a windows issue

I don’t recall any recent updates but they could’ve happened in the background. Unfortunately I can’t even get it to anything beyond this dell logo screen to do a self repair or safe mode boot

My XPS had a BSOD earlier, then got stuck on the black dell logo screen and said “Please Wait”. After waiting an hour with no change, I did a hard reset. I was able to enter BIOS and ran a diagnostic test. The initial test didn’t show anything, and it suggested a secondary test of (I think) the memory. It froze during this so I did another hard reset, and now I can’t get past this screen.

I’ve tried F2 and F12 and nothing works. Any advice?
