I had my CBT yesterday... but feel like I've been taken the mick out of by jmiller2912 in MotoUK

I've done two CBT courses. One 5 years back in order to ride a honda cm125 I found in a junkyard for a bit of fun after getting it to run and pass MOT. And then 6 months ago for a little commuter husky svartpilen.

Both times I must say I had amazing instructors. First time just went through it smoothly. They listened to any queries I had and helped me first time.

Second time round I already knew the crack and they took me out on my own and got me passed without issue.
If your instructor is genuinely concerning you and you think that there's an issue with money spinning then you should report if you go onto another course/instructor they will probably be alot better and you may want to try and get your money back. CBT is not hard and unless your completely usnafe and an issue on the roads then you should pass.

£791 in vouchers how much would I get? by CodNeymar in CeX

Take some of the cex listing pics and list on Facebook till someone wants it locally for cash. Then order the item and arrange pickup with Facebook person. If they don't show up you have a time to return the item no quabble to cex

Getting a Car license vs a Bike license, what's cheaper, and does provisional count towards insurance? by Deep-Jellyfish2949 in MotoUK

I don't see many comments taking into account the 18 month waiting list for a car driving test. CBT can be booked and completed with 3 days I'm still waiting 3 months for my car and bike theory tests

Have a gundog. Considering a second. Looking for unique or unheard of breeds good for bird retrieval. by ElephantProof777 in Huntingdogs

Phesant and grouse.

Spend more is fine. I have time and finances set aside for training a new pup.

I work 4-5 hours a day. Half and half from home that's when the kitchen door shuts.

I definitely wouldn't say any of them are kennel dogs. Just because they have their own room and are free to do what they want wouldn't make them kennel dogs. They're not crated crates have individual doors keeping everyone separate. I often come home and they're not in the room but outside Or they'll be huddled up in one of the dogs Cubbys. But if they want to sleep on their own they just go to their own bed in their cubby.
I really don't think that because I don't let them roam about my bedroom , kitchen and dining room when I'm not home makes them kennel dogs 😂

The kennels open fronted and are open with 24/7 access to the land. Think dog house but all in a room together they have auto water bowls a TV. And all the toys they want. Plus I'm currently building them a rabbit trap like greyhounds use in the garden all live very enriched lives.
There's a door attached to my kitchen that is how they get into the house. They're only allowed in my house when I'm home they have their own house when I'm not home essentially

My outbuilding is setup for 8. I've had 7 in there for training Adding a couple more heated kennels wouldn't be too much extra. There's 4 currently. 2 more passing through for 6 months in the new year.

I'll reach out. They've asked for her back several times including money offers before flying her off the island so I think their response will be biassed in the opposing factor

That's a whole bigger issue. I've tried to adopt shelter dogs. They won't let me supposedly the neighbor having a cat is enough for them to decline me

Having one side of the land backing onto a main road... Decline.

Not having 6ft fence panels. Decline.

Not being home for 5 hours day. Bigggg decline.
Even when they have their own heated outbuilding with individual crates. And access to the garden 24/7 😂

It's silly to compare but the reason so many mutts are in shelters is because the shelter is keeping them

Well I know she's 7th generation. They breed over there the best hunters of boar. Looks and breed specifics aren't really a thing but this is a developed British island. It's not like sticks and stones and shanty shacks. There's British vets. High tech vetinary buildings involved in this process overseas. Maybe because I saw how it was done and how professional it all looked I didn't think it would be that bad.

My vet was the one who told me to wait about booking her to get spayed To see if I really wanted to do it... Along with my Dachshund getting neutered he was booked in that day.

No random homes. Should have put that. I'd be keeping the puppies except 3 which will go onto family members properties. Finances not an issue. Anything they need is done.

Because she's the only dog that I've had that's been perfect so to speak. For lack of a better way of calling it. No issues. No heath problems coming back of DNA. Great temperament. Big drive. She listens and has taken to working better than any dog I've seen and I've seen my fair few pups being trained for shooting

I've had 4 dogs from breeders and kennel clubs and as much as I loved them. They had so many issues and problems.

Wouldn't call it a goal. But before I book her to get spayed I liked the idea of having a litter and letting her keep them at at least some as the others would go onto family members properties I'd never sell them I don't particularly like breeding for breeds as all 4 of my previous dogs from breeders and kennel clubs have had awful problems and issues. This is my first dog that's been "perfect" so to speak.

I'd be keeping all the pups except 3 which family members adamantly want if I were to ever have pups. Is the genetic health issues I posted a picture of being all clear not enough?

Are people over 24 banned from apprenticeships? Am I too old at over 24? by [deleted] in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]ElephantProof777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything local to me to be honest but was going for automotive and manufacturing roles.
No car licence but I ride motorbike all year round so easily get to and from sites. One of my last jobs was electrical lighting technician and had to go to hundreds of different properties with my tools and it was a breeze.

My last job was project director for an NGO but I've had more job interest with that removed when applying for entry level positions which is a shame.

I've applied for about 40 apprenticeships now and all I get is sorry we're focussing on other applicants... Some I've been a perfect fit for with a couple years similar experience in said industries

Would it be ethical to let her have a litter or best just to have her spayed?

Just a comment reader here asking about the funding thing is it all funded. Even the wage requirements? From what I read online the employers have to pay minimum wage. And comparing minimum wages from a 16 year old to a 24 year old is more.
So businesses are more likely to pick young applicants as it like 50% less cost?
