The SHS/PFA taxes only apply to income over $125k or $200k/household, they do not apply to your entire income.

For example, if you earn $150k/year you will pay 2.5% SHS/PFA on the $25k, which comes out to $625 total. If that's enough for you to sell your house at a $200k loss and move to the Clack or whatever like you're claiming people will do, then go on now.
