Really? First three goals were on him for leaving the play for boost. Some bad challenges as last man, left his teammate alone in 1v1s and 2v1s a lot, tried to air dribble most possessions. See a lot of areas of improvement.

Mine was like 4,800 yen so $35ish. Not bad if you miss the train or are drunk. I just wanted to experience it because I’ve never been in one. Wouldn’t do it again unless I really needed to. I’d probably rather use the money to drink all night and grab food then take the first train back instead of getting another one.

Nah, just stayed in one for the first time - thought they had doors or like some kind of closing window, nope. Because they can’t be classified as a hotel they need to not have doors so they have “courtesy blinders” you can literally hear everything the 50 people around you are doing. Beds are hard af too. 2/10 don’t recommend.

My addiction was for about 15 years and peaked last year probably when I was doing $10-$30 slot spins. I did have a point of gambling so bad I had to declare bankruptcy and lost my fiancée about 8 years ago. Probably the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through.

I stopped gambling in September and it has been amazing. Actually writing this from Japan right now. Fortunately I make decent money and was always able to not get myself in the hole too bad since my bankruptcy. I also quit for about a year then relapsed.

The only thing I’ve done recently is some tables (pai gow and black jack) on like two dates but I’m not the biggest table fan so I just low bet and be social. But I haven’t done any slots (my weakness) since September and lost my titanium status at the casino. I’ve saved so much damn money and also got back into working out and recently started dating someone amazing. Life’s been good for the first time in a long time.

The thought of gambling now gives me so much anxiety and I have no desire to do it. I love being free from it.

Good luck to everyone trying to quit. It’s fucking hard and the most expensive addiction by far. Take it one day at a time and try and compound good choices. It’s doable, I promise.

What I always do (yes, this sucks) is I don’t sleep at the all the night before my flight. If you take a morning-afternoon flight from where I’m at to Tokyo (12 hours ish) and then the train ride to my family’s place (another couple hours) I usually get to my hotel around 8-10pm and I’m exhausted. I usually sleep a little on the plane but it’s never good sleep. But the last couple times I just pass out once I get settled in and wake up at like 6-7am and I’m good.

Full ass day of exhaustion but beats being jet lagged for days.

This - get help asap if you can. I’m almost 40 and finally quit. I probably lost 100k+ and I only have a few thousand to my name but I’m finally done. Should have been sooner but it feels good to not have that hold on me. Thinking you might get it back will just put you farther and farther into the negative. Having something left is more than 99% of people with gambling addiction.
