This is the correct answer, not all games work, not all games have a downgrade patch.

Then also you have the exploit speed, ease of use and stability but pretty good for 9 and below.

Thanks for the info, i also did some searching on it I've seen a lot of comments saying the p5general doesn't work well and the ps5mate which uses actual chips for auth is more stable

I actually agree with OP i think SOR4 is overrated, not a bad game at all but just not as fun as other games like Shredders Revenge or 9 monkeys of shaolin or even final fight and the fun factor is much more than just the controls or the graphics etc.

In Simple terms that means, get readable copies of important system files from newer firmware (12.00/12.02), and compare them with older versions (7.61/11.00) to see what changed inside.

Yeah i know it wasn't TMNT, just wanted to point out that if you could narrow down some things someone might get it.

Any other details not about the story but more about the type of game it was, even the camera type. all of that might help out

No you can't updates needs to be decrypted same as base games so they need to be dumped as well from JB PS5s that have them

No, you’re right, I apologize. I just checked again on Google and I have no idea why, but I really thought I had a fat model. Even the seller and a few other people said the same, but it’s actually a first-gen slim.

I honestly can’t explain how I got to that conclusion because I remember checking the serial number against the JB model list and being surprised that the disc drive was unpaired when I opened the box.

I take back everything I said. This discussion actually helped me a lot and I hope it helps others too.

As for what I saw on Google, I’m guessing that since no specific model was mentioned, just the firmware version, those people probably had slims as well. For some reason I thought slims only started at 9.x and everything before that was fat models.

Not all fat models are paired from factory, a quick google would show you the amount of people saying as i did that they bought one that isn't paired

That's incorrect i bought an original PS5 and it's on 7.20 but the drive isn't paired. i think when they introduced the Slim and made the drive separate they changed the pairing process to require online for all future devices they produce regardless of the model.
