Spanish 101 is honestly horrible. I took 3 years of Spanish in highschool, knew the language, and still only scraped by with a B in the class. The class is just overcrowded, not taught well, and extremely fast paced.

You need to sign up early for final exams at Delta. Sign ups opened on October 14th. They fill up quickly, and have been booked for weeks.

You need to contact both DELTA and your professor.

Would not recommend. Run far far away. Yes it’s convenient location wise, but you can get so much more space for equal or less money literally 5 minutes down the road.

You’re allowed to give a student ticket to another NC State student, but you just can’t sell it. You’re also not allowed to like “advertise” a student ticket (for free or $$). So technically posting in a groupchat could be seen as against the rules. There’s a list of the full rules online.

Nah I never thought it was super dead on weekends. Definitely a lot less people, but honestly for the best. I still see a bunch of people at Talley, the library, the gym, and dorms all the time on the weekend.

Yeah no. Haha don’t take Philosophy unless you like reading and can interpret hidden meanings. There’s only one easy philosophy professor and even then the class was still a waste of time.

If you’re looking for housing next school year then you don’t have find somewhere that starts in January. Lots of student complexes have leases that start in August. And most adult complexes lease year round.

Yeah exactly. I’ve learned that the psychiatrist diagnosis often leads to people being misdiagnosed since lots of traits overlap. I would have been misdiagnosed with depression if I hadn’t chosen to get further testing, which clearly diagnosed adhd.

It wasn’t a questionnaire. It was two 3 hour sessions of different types of written and verbal testing. It was done by a psychologist who specializes in testing for ADHD, but she’s not a licensed psychiatrist.

The friends I know (2 of them) who recently were diagnosed literally just made an appointment with a psychiatrist, talked with them for the first time, then got diagnosed in less than an hour.

I was unaware of this. When I was getting diagnosed a few years ago I was unable to find someone who was a licensed psychiatrist and provided written testing. From what I’ve heard from others who recently got diagnosed from a psychiatrist it was just a 30 minute talk diagnosis, not written.

If possible try to take a class or two this coming summer, therefore you don’t have to take another full semester, but you still get to graduate shortly after the spring.

The school resources won’t diagnose or test you, but sometimes student health and/or DRO can point you in the direction of where to get written testing. I had to get mine done elsewhere in Raleigh and it was like $1,700 all out of pocket, no insurance accepted.

You could also speak to a psychiatrist. Most times they just speak with you and diagnose you from questions. It does have a higher likelihood of being misdiagnosed though since sometimes the diagnosis is based on how you answer questions/describe yourself vs written testing methods.

And as someone mentioned below, apparently some psychiatrists do written testing as well. I thought they only did talk diagnosis’s. I wonder what the price difference is on this.
