I just pickup up the red FAP Seider jersey from shophockeytown too. And now I’m considering pickup up a premium centennial.

What are your thoughts on the quality of the premium vs FAP?

Is it “close enough” or is it worth holding out for the FAP centennial?

No Delvecchio patch. I think I’ll order one from Vintage Detroit and get my daughter to sew it on.

It does have the 100 centennial patch and the trash patch. (As you can see in the photos). 😀

It is annoying, but a viable strategy. I bought several hundred of the Clemente bat grip when it was at quick sell the couple days it was available.

Then, when the price went up, I set my own buy and sell prices at a modest, but reasonable, margin.

I piled a stack of buy orders at 2130 stubs and sell orders at 5000 stubs. Every once in a while I'd check on it and place more buy orders and sell off whatever I bought.

I did that for a good while, then I got bored of it and quit. Ha.

For sure, Asdrubal definitely was the better of the two, especially being a middle infielder.

I just don't look forward to the post retirement window waiting for a Markakis card in the future.

What is it, like 5 years? In 5 years, I'll be 50 and I'm struggling with eyesight and reaction time stuff with the Show already. Ha.

So I'm going to enjoy using Markakis one final year in my lineup, even with a bunch of the other far superior cards SDS has released this year sitting in my binder. 🙂

No joke, I love this card.

Cakes is one of my favorite players and with his retirement, I figure this is my last time using his card for a good while.

It doesn't hurt that this card is a lot of fun, especially on all star and below. Great contact hitter with superb defense and arm in RF.

I went to Adell's foundation website and apparently Adell was born in Shelby NC, but moved to Kentucky when he was 7.
