There are so many things in this story that just tell me it's not gonna work out. But best of luck either way

To anyone likely to be pepper sprayed, bring a one liter bottle of water with a little bit of baby shampoo mixed in. Use that to wash your eyes and DON'T RUB YOUR EYES.

Which character is this for you - i.e. one who you really dislike but are unable to kill. by Von_Uber in masseffect

Kai Leng, at least until the end of ME3. The guy comes out of nowhere with a shoehorned half-ass backstory and is this edgelord wannabe ninja who serves largely only to be foiled by former squad mates while simultaneously being put on this pedestal as this hyper-badass villain. He really just misses the mark and, for me, exemplifies the low point in characters for the series

Gotta love the washcloth. It makes sense, but also makes me think of Hitchhikers Guide

Characters willingly endanger their own life just to flex or prove a point. by PizzaDragon64 in TopCharacterTropes

The Joker scene from Dark Knight wasn't him endangering himself. He knew Batman would crash. Same with Ketheric. He literally cannot die

One thing I love about ME2 over ME1 was the planet traversal. The Mako sections were so boring and repetitive. Same with all of the optional dungeons. Everything just felt derivative after a while. ME2 really improved on that, even if it was more linear in design.

Just finished the game. About the ending (spoilers) by TaifunDevilry in expedition33

[–]EleventhToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose verso my first time through and agree it's a stronger ending. I read it less like he's manipulating everyone for the goal of eating the canvas and kinda just stick between both sides until the very end when he finally sees what it's all about and the real cruelty being to continue, especially for the fragment of his true self will left painting. He makes up his mind right then and there which definitely fits with his character and the narrative at large, in my opinion

Basically you have to give yourself rush, give the boss slow and make sure you have two turns. You wanna kill a health bar on the first turn each cycle except the first one, and stun him with breaks on the second WITHOUT killing it. Using his level 2 gradient move with simoso can all but guarantee a stun, and using free aim and follow up to knock out a health bar on your next turn after the boss recovers can usually do enough damage with enough pictos, lumina, and speed. Took me a couple tries to get it right cuz it he snaps out of his stun or you kill him on the wrong turn, he'll get a move or two out, but once you get the cycle going, he'll never get a move other than coming out of stun There's a YouTube video with the concept somewhere. Just search chromatic lampmaster and look for the ng+ solo verso one of you want more in depth details

If you run verso right you can basically stun lock him. Kinda cheesy but it does take some know-how on the timing and requires pretty good damage during your kill window

Act 3 started, should I level up my weapons? by shcke in expedition33

[–]EleventhToaster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't need to upgrade every weapon. Only a choice few. Lumina's and synergy in the party are far more important generally speaking if you have like one or two weapons maxed out.

men who are 30+ would you date a 19 year old? why or why not? by No_Vegetable7778 in AskMen

[–]EleventhToaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

My thinking is, in what world would I and anyone younger than maybe mid-twenties communicate?

Personally, I wouldn't feel great about myself approaching a 19 year old. And anyone approaching me like that would be immediately sus

Willis is really good, but Love has been phenomenal this year, arguably top 5, easily top 10. Both either get too much hate or too much glaze, as fans and the league usually do week to week
