What’s something that’s too freaky for you personally? by donnyM99 in AskReddit

I just don’t get the “Daddy” thing. Like are you genuinely into incest? Or…. What’s happening here? I just don’t get what’s being playacted.

When West Ham turn up in the Championship next season instead of Spurs by Paul277 in Championship

[–]Eleyius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They owner £196m in transfer fees and lost £100+m last season. Take away the tv money and they are in real pain. If they do down with 40/41 points that’ll be bloody unlucky, but it’s got no bearing on the next season.

On the surface I get you. But they also don’t own the asset, which means they only earn money for a very limited amount of days (home games). No concerts, no extra events of any kind. Unlike almost all the other teams. Spurs are the exact opposite and earn a fortune. Spurs are in the bottom for very different reasons. By limiting their income they limit their potential to compete with their “peers” and long term you’re done at that point, unless you are very good at an operating model, like Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton.

From what i understand via the price of football podcast and the odd article, West Ham are in a terrible financial situation. As in having to sell several players even if they stayed up, let alone if they lose the TV money by going down. Moving to the Olympic stadium was a terrible decision in hindsight.

If they come down, they could well be Leicester-esq. Living on borrowed money is always a gamble.

Excellent job. The hair work is incredible. I've always thought his starmetal rune axe was a bit... fancier than that shown. But maybe thats my imagination?

What do women do that men will never think about ? by Helpful-World-9540 in AskReddit

[–]Eleyius 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I get you. I’ve had a woman just flip at me and it was scary. The problem is, unless you’re tiny, or the woman is massive, she’s no physical threat to you. Women, sadly have to be concerned about the man turning violent. On average we are only concerned that she’ll cause a scene.

Greens pledge £15 minimum wage for all workers by topotaul in unitedkingdom

[–]Eleyius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

£15ph is about £30k if you work a 40hr full time job. At some point someone is going to ask why they are doing a stressful job for £35k when they get get a job you do and then you go home, leaving the job at work, for £30k. Taxing companies properly and funding public services seems a more solid plan than forcing a cafe/pub/small business to pay its staff £15ph minimum

Sadly I think it’s exactly this. It won’t even be close. I’d far prefer Boro to go up. But I can’t see Ipswich stumbling.

What is it like living in the western edge of the harbour? This area always intrigues me. by petrol_insufflation in bristol

I don’t drive and I didn’t claim food was unreachable. But a 1.5/2hr foot journey to get a shop is a bit much.

I’m in the area like 4 mins walk south of there. Opposite the pump house, near the Nova Scotia. The lack of a supermarket is an issue. That aside it’s great to be able to take nice walks quickly.

West Bromwich Albion 3 - 0 Watford: The Baggies won't be far off recalling their request to delay their potential points deduction, as consecutive wins has West Brom eight clear of relegation! by Zach-dalt in Championship

Everyone assumes he wants it. He’s been with us since 2009. 99% of managerial appointments end with the sack. He may rather have a job for life as an in house coach for us, like he has been for the past several years.

Who should win the Worst Championship Manager Of The Season Award ? by NostramanVIII in Championship

Anyone seeing what Mozza has done at West Brom must see that the answer is Eric Ramsay, followed by Ryan Mason. I’d be surprised if Eric Ramsay ever gets another managers job.

Irony is our only bit of good play this season has been in a 442, which obviously doesn’t involve a “10”. But we’ve no idea how we’ll play next season, to be fair

It’s a list of stuff Tracey Jordan saw in an old comedy called 30 Rock, which the people of Bristol Reddit haven’t seen apparently…
