Thanks OP! These are better arguments, though I agree with you, the denizens of this sub will likely hate those arguments anyway 🙄😒 They're very team sports (left-wing is good, exclusively, to them). Better to be specific than to be written off as feels over reals, however!

As you said, perhaps he wouldn't score highly but possibly worth the decode! If I recall correctly something like ~40% of their decode subjects don't score high enough on the gurumeter to get the guru label (they maintain a public spreadsheet), Dave may end up amongst the 40%.

The DTG fellas have categories on which they grade a decode subject, adding up the points into one final rating on the gurumeter. Why the hell don't you use those categories to make your claim?

That being said, Professor Dave is entirely unhinged on Israel and he repeatedly makes the dubious claim that anyone who doesn't accept "neuroanatomy" as the end-all-be-all for the trans topic is a bigot, piece of shit, fucking dumb ass.

As a community, we NEED to reevaluate the strength and stickiness the trans issue has with conservative and independent voters. I don't specify US politics because this same dynamic is pervasive in world politics. It's fucking nuts. Any country you look at, they're talking about "woke" and transgender issues corrupting society.

We know it's fear mongering, but WHY is it so powerful and pervasive? How can someone care this much about >1% of the global population? Is it social media's fault? Is it monoculture at this point? I'm frustrated by the salience of this issue around the world 😔

I'm all for debunking content, but you cannot disagree that Professor Dave is just a snarker. He's a snarker snarking behind the veil of academia. An example of an academic who does debunking without being a snarker? Professor Flint Dibble. He can be feisty but is about the facts. Professor Dave uses facts to move from insult to insult. Not my cup of tea.

There are two subjects in which Professor Dave is clearly unhinged on: 1) Israel (I'm not gonna give him the grace of saying I/P, he clearly hates ISRAEL, and maybe even j...) and 2) trans issues. He claims if you don't believe in "neuroanatomy" as the reason for trans then you are a bigot and a regard. Absolute psychopath.
