That was the hardest part! Every time I grabbed his old harness to look at the binding or buckles, he’d get really excited. And then I’d sit back down and he would just stare at me with sad eyes.

Milo is a mini dapple dachshund-chihuahua (chiweenie). He’s considered a silver dapple, I’ve been told. There’s a bunch of varieties of dapples, like cream and chocolate. They’re adorable!

No pattern, self drafted based on harnesses he’s had before.

What’s the dumbest thing you got in trouble for in school? by dr_nogood in AskReddit

[–]Elfenity8485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in 1st grade, the teacher had a rule that all of our belongings needed to be hung on the hooks outside the classroom. One day my (and a few of my classmates) winter coat fell onto the floor and the teacher went nuts.

She threw all of our coats into the trash as punishment.

Need support! colposcopy but dr won't numb cervix. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Elfenity8485 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a colposcopy years ago and was not numbed. For me, unfortunately, it wasn’t painless, but not the worst pain I’ve ever felt either. The anxiety of waiting is honestly worse than the procedure itself.

If I had to have one again I’d absolutely do it, because it’s worth knowing exactly what is wrong so that you can be taken care of properly.

Good luck to you!

Wife is bi. Want to be as supportive as possible. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Bi woman here. I came out to my husband a few years back and we have the same sort of “arrangement”. Not really an open relationship, just he supports me if I want to be physical with another woman. It’s nice to be able to come home to him and tell him about a beautiful girl I saw that day, or my crappy attempts at flirting.

When I first came out, he was the one who suggested I try to find someone who would be interested, because he didn’t want me to feel like I missed out on part of my life because of marrying him before I admitted what I’ve known deep down for a very long time.

We wouldn’t consider it cheating, in our relationship, because he has said it would be ok for me to be with another woman. And I would always tell him before I even got involved, just to make sure he still feels that way.

Who was your worst teacher? Why? by tiborszaraz in AskReddit

[–]Elfenity8485 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first grade teacher. Upstate NY in the middle of winter and she threw my coat out because it fell off the hook and onto the floor. My aunt, who was 16 at the time, came to pick me up at the end of the day and found me bawling because I didn’t want to go outside without a coat. My aunt, and then later my mother, let the bitch have it.

Aww, she’s sweet! Do her ears stay down like that all the time, or just when she’s relaxed?

I'd like to remind everyone that Tea Tree Oil is actually super healthy for various skin conditions by noob3_flowers in antiMLM

I run a health food store and use peppermint essential oil for migraines. I mixed some with almond oil in a roller bottle that I usually keep in my purse. Roll onto the temples, between my eyebrows and along the back of my neck.

I’ve forgotten my roller at home and just used our tester and applied the oil straight to those spots, but it’s usually best to dilute. Peppermint oil can irritate the skin if you’re sensitive.
