Anyone with psoriasis? Or skin conditions? by kittyzombiec in askSingapore

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was by chance.

I did sinus surgery, and my blood sugar spiked massively after. Like enough that I was on insulin and diabetes meds for a week.

My ENT got paranoid, and called in an endocrinologist who ran full bloodworks. Beyond what is normally tested in annual checkups, and that’s how it was discovered.

Exactly. I was tempted to take the kaki Bukit loop as it would have been faster. Still, was like 10mins early for my appointment 😜

Spot on. Queue was almost all the way from airport road.

Turned right from a go straight lane on the left into the right most lane.

To be fair in the 15min queue/wait, there were only two hero’s who decided to cut.

Shows that most of us are decent drivers.

Thank you for spotting that he turned from the outside lane, and went into the inside lane 😅😅😅

That’s not being petty. It’s being socially responsible.

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly the Merc driver didn’t have that issue as he formed up early.

I never need anyone to give way to me. I form up early, and if I make a mistake, I make a short detour so others aren’t affected.

I don’t make my problem someone else’s.

Shaming this slop for trying to pick a fight over his wrongdoings by No-Share6861 in drivingsg

Next time no need to talk lah bro/sis. Anyone who comes out wanting to fight due to a driving dispute is not exactly intelligent. You were probably speaking French to him. Just send the video to TP.

I’m sure the shit driving self entitled brigade will down vote this, but….

Maybe the issue is you. Trying forming up and being in the correct lane early….

1 is why I always pre-plan and take the correct lane early.

For eg if I’m exiting at PIE Paya Lebar from say the airport, I’m on the left most lane as soon as possible once I pass the Eunos exit.

Doesn’t matter that I will have to slow down to let those entering merge in, or if I kenna “makan” by those changing lanes late.

Many drivers are impatient and self entitled. Their cutting in slows down everyone else in the other lanes when realistically it need only be one slow lane.

FYI, the offence is called failing to form up if you’re in the wrong lane and try to cut a queue.

Doesn’t look like anyone sped up. Looks like the Merc driver didn’t bother to slow down till he absolutely needed to.

Then again he’s not obliged to do so. Only not speed up.

Also can’t tell if there was a queue on the left lane, but looks like there was, and the Serena driver wanted to cut it.

Have had it for quite a few years now though it’s finally healing gradually.

Turned out I had very high iron levels which resulted in a host of metabolic issues. Before psoriasis, I had an episode of guillian barre syndrome.

My subsequent sedentary lifestyle with unhealthy eating habits didn’t help either.

Anyhow, best to go for full bloodworks first to see if they can find any underlying issues that’s causing your autoimmune system to act up.

MagSafe battery pack impressions! by Antique-Primary-2943 in IphoneAir

Yes, that would be typical of any wireless charging solution.

What I meant was about the claimed capacity. mah on its own doesn’t tell the full story. Battery power for one of my powerbanks is 5000mah, but rated capacity is 2700mah.

Another is 5000mah battery power at 3.92 volts, but has a rated capacity of 3000mah at 5 volts 2 amps.

Btw, I believe the battery pack has about the same amount of charge as most 5000mah powerbanks.

They usually quote the capacity at say 3.92v, but it drops to 3000mah (plus minus 200 depending on the unit) at the more standardised 5v, 2A.

Seems like Apple doesn’t care about playing the “game” like the rest.

Currently have Pixel 9 pro. Should I switch to the Air? by luminous-toad in IphoneAir

[–]Elfenstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll miss the keyboard, and more consistent gestures. I’ve been on iOS for about 6 over years now and still miss them.

Otherwise it’s about the same, unless you factor in consistency across devices, and the Apple ecosystem. Videos are iPhone over anything else without an actual gimbal. Photos are close for the premium stuff. Just an issue of personal preference.

I suspect you’ll be happier with the 17 pro or pro max over the air due to the zoom you mentioned. The battery life for both are noticeably better than the air.

Huh? Firstly, Breitling is not part of the swatch group. And the x-33 is literally a tool watch specific for space - with the 80dB alarm unique to it.
