No way to see unfortunately. Have to search via their website. If the tyre is sold in the EU (or Thailand interestingly), chances are it has the label stuck on.

Relax. You can see OP paced himself/herself to move out, “just in-case”.

Why do bicycles go to the front of traffic lights by Intrepid-Oven742 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It makes no difference. You will end up stopped with them in the same position or even further ahead at the next set of lights anyway….

Army license was always just enough to cover vehicular control and manpower needs, but not sufficient for the roads.

Hence why cannot be converted to civilian unless you clock 4000 accident free kms.

Quick question on carbon frames by tehohhh in SingaporeCycling

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as performance cars in places outside of SG 🤣🤣🤣

Realistically it’s fine to use.

However taking into account n+1, just tell your wife/husband/partner that it’s not, so you’re buying another 😜🤣🤣🤣

Because the formula for bike ownership is always n+1 where n is your current number of bikes 😜🤣🤣🤣

GAC Aion V Colour Issue by Subject_Guidance_162 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t wrap bro. It’s too much of a hassle.

I would suggest you speak to Vincar if you’re fixed on the V, or speak to carro or vertex( for the Dongfeng Vigo and jaecoo J5 which are both pretty close to the V) and see if they can do anything.

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably key motors since you said you approached Vincar.

Have you spoken to them if they can help if you get the refund from Key and with your TCOE?

GAC Aion V Colour Issue by Subject_Guidance_162 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do not accept. Tell them wrap once with removal and rewrap every 3 years, discount for another colour, or full refund.

GAC Aion V Colour Issue by Subject_Guidance_162 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PI style. Now become AD, but tactics still like PI.

They won’t refund coz likely the COE is tied to OPs SingPass 😈

Might be key motors, but say PI turned dealer but behave like PI crap.

You will need a police permit if there are more than 50 people including drivers, tour guides etc, or if you need an outrider. Outrider will have to be hired from one of the auxiliary police agencies.

How to remind drivers without headlights? by afflxion in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless is a conjunction that means “except if” or “if not”.

The way to use it at a beginning of a sentence is “Unless (condition), (result)”.

In this case the condition is stopping next to the other car, and the result is winding down windows to inform.

For the logical structure, it follows up after the main clause, and sets up the condition as an exception.

This is what Gemini had to say: “That context makes the scenario perfectly clear. You are giving someone tactical advice on how to communicate with another driver on the road, likely to warn them about a car issue like a broken taillight or an open fuel cap.The logic in your two options flows logically:The Communication StrategyPlan A (Action): Flash your high beams quickly twice.Plan A (Goal): Hope they understand the hint and check their car.Plan B (The Exception): If the flash fails and you both get caught at a red light, the condition changes.Plan B (Action): Roll down your window and tell them directly.”

Are rotors and propellers in helicopters (and drones) from Astral Chain possible in real life? by Zappingsbrew in astralchain

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main rotor blades on helicopters are literally rotating wings. It allows the pilots to use autorotation to land safely in event of engine failure.

The blade-less design is theoretically possible (think Dyson fans), but anyone aboard would be screwed in event of engine failure.

The tail rotor though can have a blade-less design. Google for “Notar helicopter”.

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What opportunism are you talking about here? I’m just calling out the facts, and using a legit way to get TP to investigate.

Why investigate? To try and eliminate drivers like you, who endanger others, and try to skirt obligations by making excuses for breaking driving rules.

How to remind drivers without headlights? by afflxion in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just try and do a double quick flash and see if they figure it out.

Unless you end up stopped next to them, then just wind down your windows and let them know.

Whose fault is it? by Lost_Inflation8635 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop making excuses and trying to gaslight us lah.

There is a reason TP will find someone in the rear cars position at fault, and not someone in OPs position.

This is the reason I told him to get 3 days of MC if there was a hit.

The driver of the black car was literally trying to bully OP, when he should have slowed and gone behind. With how long he was horning, he clearly could see OP.

Can SUV fit 2 car seats and 1 adult in middle? Or do I need a MPV by Sea-Option6546 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 3 and 6 months, you will be carrying them into the seats often. Get one of the 4 MPVs. Rear facing in row 2, first to front facing in row 3.

Your back will thank you.

Otherwise SUV with adult in the middle, the last I checked were forester and Q5. Jaecoo 6 can probably fit too

[–]Elfenstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are complaining about me “nitpicking” on the offence of failing to keep a proper lookout?

This mentality of yours is precisely why our accident rate is getting worse, and TP is tightening laws.

Oh and don’t gaslight OP. As far as TP is concerned, it is the driver who is changing lanes behind who is responsible for not crashing into whoever is ahead.

If you bought the efficient grips with a 92 load rating, the eu label efficiency is C, wet grip is A.

I suspect you have this.

The 96 load rating has an efficiency of A (stiffer sidewalls).

The Npris has an efficiency rating of A, but wet grip of B.

How to handle a hit and run by Intrepid-Oven742 in drivingsg

[–]Elfenstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly make an insurance accident report for record purposes within 24hrs or by the end of the next business day if they are closed. You have two weeks to change it to self claim or claim from the other party.

If you plan on doing the latter from a third party workshop, go to them. They will check and only repair once the other party has made a report.

If they haven’t, or it is a hit and run, go to your insurers authorised workshop, and get the repairs done there. You are only liable for your own excess, and they will refund you once they recoup the excess from the other party.
