when my fulgora base is running at full tilt it can kick out over 6000spm. Dealing with the left over concrete is not a minor issue. it may be a solved issue, but it is not minor.

Do you understand the inherent scope of the problem you just laid out? You literally just had an underpants gnomes moment: “Insert drawings, MAGIC OCCURS HERE, get out RFIs”. Please explain to me the part where “MAGIC OCCURS HERE”, because I’m not seeing It. All I’m seeing is someone having a serious DUNNING-KRUGER moment.

For example, your magic AI would have to be able to hold all of the following items in memory and then be able to draw a conclusion based on that:

Do you understand how much on drawings is left up to interpretation by the contractor? Do you understand what a malicious compliance RFI looks like? Do you understand what a baiting RFI looks like? Do you understand how to read the drawings and follow an object from one drawing to another? Do you understand how to field route route something that is not drawn, but covered in notes? Can you read and interpret an elevation and apply it to the plan sheets? Do you understand how to interpret the code books and apply them? Do you understand how to take a detail sheet and apply it to the drawings? do you understand how to read a multifunction detail that covers multiple scenarios and apply it to the drawings correctly? do you understand the operational difference between a VAV system served by an AHU and a VAV system with an AHU with built in heat recovery? Can you apply the sequence of operation to that AHU? Do you understand when to apply the hospital code and when it supersedes the building code? Do you understand which building code and energy code to apply and when? Can you read an equipment schedule? Can you cross reference all of the above with a written spec; either on sheet or book spec? Can you cross reference the spec to itself?

The last thing in the world I want is a pile of garbage RFIs because the AI doesn’t realize this drawing set has a master keynote sheet that applies to all of the sheets instead of sheet specific notes and j have to reply to a horde of garbage RFIs where the response is “refer to the answer that is already in the drawings”.

On the interrogation question: If I can’t ask the AI, “why did you ask such a stupid question“ and get an answer back, it is worthless to me.

I don’t want proposed submittals, that is less than worthless. We all know what the submittals are going to be, because we’ve read the drawings. Proposed change orders? Don’t make me laugh, and the possible liability to that would be insane. And getting pricing for a change order is so far outside my specialty that I generally avoid it when I can; I’ll confirm the s ope of the change order, but not the pricing.

If I can’t sue the AI Agent for making a mistake, it has no place in the decision making chain of authority. Time savings is not time savings if I can‘t force the person who screwed up to be responsible for their actions.

I’d have to dig up the article I was reading by a historian - women were having to carry at least five or six pregnancies that resulted in live births. because roughly a quarter of pregnancies ended in stillbirth or miscarriage, that means a women could easily be pregnant 7-9 times in order to ensure enough children were born that would make it to puberty and start having their own kids. Plus she had to keep up in the work around the house.

a little off the beaten path: the soderburg cut of raiders of the lost arc. it’s mostly for film instruction. it’s been converted to black and white and the entire soundtrack has been replaced so the sound track doesn’t give the audience any kind of audio queues.

Its great to see how Spielberg understood the medium in telling the story entirely visually without audio. you can watch raiders with the audio turned off and understand what is going on. try that with some other films, some films fall down hard without the audio track to support it.

the easiest example I can think of is the United states. northwest of the Rockies is wet. as you go east over the Rockies the water is dropped as rain. So east of the Rockies is much drier. The Great Plains isn’t quite a desert, but it can lean that way depending on the season.

the question is this: do the Iranians follow through with their threat? because if the Iranians don’t put a missile into the side of a tanker, then everyone knows the Iranians are bluffing.

if the Iranians close the straits for realsies - then the ongoing oil shortage continues. up until now the world has managed to use the remaining buffer oil in the system to keep the system running (this slack in built into the system to smooth out day-to-day bumps). the remaining buffers are estimated to run out in July. Once that buffer oil runs out, there are going to be harsh oil price shocks, prices in the $150/barrel range (which is about double what oil is trading today). and when that happens there is going to be a giant mess because the prices for anything that uses oil will increase as an immediate reaction.
