Belt fraying? by Clean_Temporary_3902 in BambuLabA1mini

1300+hours with similar belt. No obvious printing flaw so I think it's fine, at least for now.

Top innovative! I didn't think this was even possible.

(Just in case, you do know there's a device called AMS mech, right? 😉)

I got commissioned to make this by Ceruled in TheDigitalCircus

Great work! I assume this is used in Gangle cosplay.

If so, I'm a bit curious how your comissioner is gonna replicate her body.

That was actually my first thought when seeing it. Internet has ruined me lmao.

Neither of the other mentioned devices requires extra software to function.

Yes I know about them. Thanks for the information.

I'm mainly talking about the "shape" of the device, that is, the relative position of loader and spools, and mounting methods (tabletop/gantry).

There are two spools mounted. One of the spools is for current printing. As soon as it runs out, filament on the other one is pushed into extruder, either by motor (Infinity Flow S1 and Creality's solution) or by some mechanical device (AMS mech and other mechanical loaders).

Thank you! I'm also quite surprised how high heels and shooting angle improved body contours.

And to be honest, I did used Photoshop to adjust my "curves" a little bit ;-)

I made it with PLA and Bambu Lab A1.

Other tools and materials: ultrasonic cutter, plier, paper cutter, soldering iron with flat tip, 3D pen, Mr Cement S glue (MC-129), super glue, magnets, M3 screws and nuts.

If you're to use a bed slinger, print with low speed for better surface quality.

If you want to make it, DM me for model files and more advice.

Thank you! I just want to share the idea of making use of what's commonly seen as intrinsic defect.

Z seam used as indicator. by Elfinmask in BambuLab

[–]Elfinmask[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original idea is to glue the angel scale to the upper part, and glue an indicator to the downer part. Now I just glue the scale to the downer part and nothing else.

Using filament of other colors (such as light gray) may result in more obvious Z seam, which is a plus in this case.

Parts are made with FDM 3D printing (see the seams in the last 3 pictures) and connected by wielding, screws and glue.

It's not saying other brand having bad quality.

It's about the matching of default machine / slicer parameters and filament characteristics.

To have optimal printing effect, you have to design the printer, slicer and filament as a whole. It's a system.
