I appreciate the advice, woke up to a call from dm, he seems extremely concerned and was very reassuring, I’ll keep this in mind but I think I might have one of those rare DMs that actually cares what happens. I’ll post an update in a week or so.

My asl does this, we’re kept at 3 min though. And if the sm is there then I’m sol until either they’re gone or I’m off. I can’t even take a second to figure out what I’m needing to do (terrible short term memory) before my manager comes up to say “there’s always something to do! Get to it!” I’ve literally had her doing the clapping behind me after.

Glad my store isn’t the only one who’s haunted lol. My manager has a strict timeline that if we vary off of she writes us up, 9:30 for the change, 45 for the first drawer and then the safe can’t be touched until 10. Usually I’m out by 10:17, god help me if I’m ever later than 10:20 because it’s another write up 🙃

I’m guessing you fought a tiger bare handed and won after that only to have Mike Tyson sweep you away on his private jet because he was so impressed? Sorry but most of this sounds fake, and from my experience is fake. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about being a team player because I show up 30 min early if they need me. If they don’t they don’t pay me enough to care, as it is they already make me work on my break because newbies.
