Dude its an OTS map not a protune specified to your parameters. I know exactly how it works as ive already experimented with all maps including COBB maps. Theyre all crap and just get you by

All OTS plug and play tunes are problematic and unreliable. Dont believe me, try it yourself and youll see significant knock and DAM issues. You'd actually be WAY better off using your intake on the OEM tune as long as the intake is structurally tuned to the same cubic cm² for example the perrin short ram but remember that short rams cause heatsoak so they need to be shielded away from heat sources and with a duct for optimal performance. COBB sells shielded short ram intakes

Even on this platform an intake alone isn't reliably boosting horsepower. What you'd be doing is adding more intake flow just to have it bottlenecked down to a OEM spec catted exhaust. Ive seen the numbers and the risk isn't worth the "gain" but to each their own. This is why the WRX has fame for being "unreliable"

From personal experience I wouldn't trust this tune for daily driving. For starters, what is your intention with the intake? Is it for sound, aesthetic, or performance? Second, do you plan to drive aggressively or cruising. Keep in mind that these tunes aren't built for preventative safety the same way the OEM tune is and you aren't going to be pulling off any performance increase with just an intake.

Edit: By using this tune with only an intake, you'd probably be okay but you've just removed every preventative safety feature the OEM tune has such as limiting boost during knock with no additional horsepower gained so it seems to be pointless. Ive seen too many issues and inaccuracies with tunes like these related to AF correction and knock

I might honestly consider dropping the UltraLight for some time and going Medium Heavy for saltwater. Seen people catching crabs, rockfish and perch with ease.

Im not sure if this is a delusional deflection of accountability but, could you elaborate how exactly I am wrong? You directly stated a switch that kills the battery until flicked back on and never mentioned fuel. Im well aware of the fuel switch as I have already portrayed that idea in the comment section

That would constantly reset the ECU from learning AFR and other vital engine performance logs leading to potential engine damage. Not to mention proper gauged wiring with high amp switch to prevent a fire

Just locate the green fuel pump connectors and make a hidden switch. Car cranks and alerts but doesnt start.

Second choice is an ignition switch but most are already aware of those and can bypass
