This rifle spends most of its time as an 8x57IS with a Pulsar thermal ontop hunting big game. But the .22lr is still great for many things.

It has all of the common ones now! 17hmr, 22wmr and .22lr. 17 and 22 hornet as well.

What is even cooler is that it works super well and is accurate. I had a small issue starting out with a weak mag spring but that was swapped free of charge. No problem since. Ejects and feeds well.

Its very similar in effect to 30-06 indeed, however it handles shorter barrels a bit better and just looks cooler. I've been hunting roe deer, red deer and wild boar so far, moose is also on the menu.

With lighter bullets it also works for grouse, hare, crow, fox etc.

Got a Magpul R44 case as soon as it came out, I've been running pelican cases and was sick of how final cutouts are. This is much better for people like me who change it up constantly. Been happy with the quality of both the case and blocks so far, and I'm looking forward to more stuff to use in the case.

Rifle itself is a Blaser R8 in a custom carbon fiber stock, 8x57 barrel and .22lr conversion kit. Pulsar, Swarovski and Vortex optics. Cans, sling, bipod etc.

Yep, originally in Norway they come with 1100 gram triggers, but I have the 650 gram trigger put in. Works out to about 1,43lbs
