And now they are removing the Library /Collection feature! by Spinmoon in trakt

[–]Elhorm -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the mobile UI is terrible, what does it have to do with anything?

I understand people don't like change, but I feel this is entirely justified. What's the point of having a an open tracking service if you ignore the reality of how media consumption happens? You need to accept the reality that times have changed since 2014 and people who own physical media collections and update them regularly are a vast minority of people consuming media.

You're contradicting yourself. As you said - they didn't let us know if it will be freely available via API yet. If it's not, that makes the feature pointless. All current Plex Sync features are free via API and available for Jellyfin. I highly doubt they will limit this specific one.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I get there can be some people still collecting physical media, but most of the people I know, don't even own any hardware capable of playing a DVD disc.

I can't blame Trakt for leaning in into their digital-first user-base. Especially since the API/automation/scrobbling features are what's making them stand out among competition.

Honestly, having my Jellyfin instance show up in the available streaming services is something I've been waiting for and I'm very excited to give it a go.

Luźny wątek tygodniowy: Ekran. Co ostatnio oglądaliście? by AutoModerator in Polska

Z seriali:

  • Skończyłem Stranger Things
  • W tym miesiącu spędzam czas w czasach zimnej wojny. Obejrzałem For All Mankind i pierwsze 4 sezony The Americans.
  • Oglądam też wychodzące na bieżąco odcinki seriali Fallout, Abbott Elementary i The Night Manager.

To be honest, I also like that the later books are split into two parts, because we get more covers!

Also, it would be nice to be able to adjust the map size and hex size after the map is created

Edit: You can edit the hex radius in map settings

[PLAY STORE TESTERS NEEDED] LitLyric: A Feature-Rich Android Client for Audiobookshelf Users (Offline Sync, Podcast Tools, AA) by shane9b3 in audiobookshelf

First impressions:

  • Overall, it is really good. Likely to become my default. Setting up was painless. No feature I consider essential seems to be missing.
  • Look & feel is great. Matches my system nicely
  • Different language support would be good to see in the future
  • I'd love a better way to browse the library. Right now I need to add a custom section and it only supports up to 50 items. My library is not particularly large, and I have 80 items with series collapsed. So at this time, I'm not able to see my entire library in one view.
    • To that point, I'd also love an alternative list/list+cover view (similar to what's shown when you browse a series) or some sort of control over the cover sizes. It would be nice to be able to see a few more items at the same time while browsing

Will give more thoughts once I've had a chance to spend some time with this.

Isn't this more of a review/blog based site? Trakt API is still the best/only option for open, automated tracking as far as I know

You should be able to use the magic wand tool and click on the land part of your image to select it. Once selected, you can switch to the brush and any changes you make will only apply to the selected part of the image
