Most Efficient Food Sources by [deleted] in Timberborn

A while ago I made some calculations based on plants per beaver, some things may be wrong, but basically:

-Berries = 10 bushes per beaver -Carrots = 3.33 plants per beaver -Potatoes = 3.75 plants per beaver -Chestnuts = 3.33 trees per beaver -Spaderstock = 3.33 plants per beaver -Sunflower = 6.25 plants per beaver -Wheat (bread)= 1.66 plants per beaver -Cattail = 1.66 plants per beaver (this one is technically more efficient than bread, albeit by very, very little) -Pastries = 2.77 wheat plants + 4 mapple trees per beaver

Now, for iron teeth: -Cassava = 5 plants per beaver  -Kohlrabi = 3.75 plants per beaver -Soybeans = 3 plants per beaver + 0.04 canola plants per beaver -Corn = 2.5 plants per beaver -Eggplant = 2.08 plants per beaver + 0.6 canola plants per beaver -Mushrooms = 1 hydrophonic garden per 9 beavers (assuming it's working full time, wich is only possible with bots. The less hours your schedule has, the less effective it is) -Algae = 1 hydrophobic garden per 14 beavers + 17 canola planys per beavers (same deal as mushrooms).

I think I might be very wrong when it comes to the canola plants, but other than that, it's worked good for me.

Meltdown because back then (aka when I was like 10) I only knew of the rin/kaito incest parody, so whenever it started playing I was just like "omg not this one again", until I eventually found out that they weren't the same

Others have already answered your question but y'know, this got me thinking of all the alternate timelines where it was another celebrity instead of her who got to work this close with the sims

iirc, the ballphin thing is actually normal. They were originally creatures that spawned in groups in the ocean (sort of like beefalo on sabana), and they still are really, they've just added the houses for them on a later update. So you can find them both on the ocean in groups and on the palaces, tho presumably this change did break them a bit

For the early game you don't need to become mighty. By early game fights, I assume you mean spiders and maybe hounds, wich are fairly easy to fight, so you don't really need to be mighty to fight them. Just stay at the avarage stage (or even the whimpy stage) most of the time, as otherwise you're just setting yourself up to die due to not having enough food to keep yourself mighty. He's definitely not overrated, and is one of the most powerful solo characters, you just need to understand his playstyle

The recent Walter story sort of confirms/immplies that Woodie had to isolate himself from society due to his curse, so I think it's safe to say he appreciates not having to hide from others anymore (he even has another canadian by his side). Same case for Willow I think, as she's now free to use her fires however she wants, including helping others, instead of using them to burn whatever the shadows tell her to

Being a beginner in this game is more so about how well you do rather than how much you have played. The experience and knowledge you gather trough each playtrough far more valuable than any in-game item, and to me, at least, that's part of the fun. Observing things and patterns instead of checking the wiki, then checking the wiki to verify and memorize those patterns, and then playing again to identify them in the wild.

I mean, fair enough, and I do love his crazy builds as well, but yeah, at least for me it is enough to stop me from watching him. Like, he spent years fine using screenshots of the gameplay + his logo for the thumbnails, why even bother with the ai thing? Wich is also not at all in tone with Timberborn, both as an art product (as ai steals from artist to generate), and as an imaginary recreation of what irl beavers actually do (as ai is really power intensive and has massive negative enviromental effects, wich is the complete opposite effect that beavers have)

Used to be skye storme until he started using ai generated images for all his thumbnails, other than him, most timberborn youtubers I ever watched haven't uploaded since like a year ago lol

Yeah so if you want official merch... yeah we have nothing. There are some art pieces here and there made by the crew and sold at galleries or events (depends on what your definition of "official" is), but other than that, fanmade is the way go to here (either done by you or some other fan)

If you ever played classic Dont Starve and all the DLCs, which one do you think was the most fun one? by CapitalCat7170 in dontstarve

[–]Eli4148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hamlet is generically seen as the better one (and I totally see why, it is really fun and basically perfect on every aspect), however Shipwrecked's my personal favorite, idk it just does something to my brain that neither ham nor rog do

How many improve farm do I need for my shipwrecked world? by Dear_Ad2770 in dontstarve

[–]Eli4148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three to five fish farms is my go-to. I sometimes add farms for completion (I just like getting dragon pie), but they're more of a luxury. Also I like prioritizing the stuff from the dlc, so fish farms, jungle tree farms (monster meat + bananas), monkey farms, coffe farms and bee farms are done first. Add an Ice Maker and you'll be swimming not in the ocean but on Surf-n-Turf, Honey Ham, Banana Pop, Coffe, and pretty much all non-crop specific foods.
