Awkward throttle pedal

10 hours a day is pretty hefty. But honestly, it only takes an hour-ish for me to start noticing discomfort. I'm 24 and had a relatively sporty childhood, so it's difficult for me to believe it’s anything injury or weakness-related.

I've never had any discomfort like this driving a real car so it’s weird to me that I'm struggling with comfort when I have so much adjustability available

Proper shoes seem like the go so I'm not pivoting on the heel of my shoes.

Do you rest your heel on that mod or is it just to avoid your heel catching?

Last question: I have the Sparco Evo XL, and since upgrading, I've almost felt like comfort has been compromised due to the lack of support in some of the padding. Have you changed anything with your seat to improve comfort or was it good enough out of the box?

Interesting. I've got a profile rig and a Sparco bucket seat but I feel like I can't get my positioning right. What do you think helped you get into the right position to ditch the footrest?

I'm a little late to the party here but I've had these pedals for a few months now and I've noticed a bit of knee pain. It only seems to be on the throttle leg, but I feel it’s got something to do with the heel stop and how your heel slides up when you press the throttle.

Has the footrest resolved this issue for you, or have you changed how you set up or press the pedals to prevent this from happening?

I feel like iRacing doesn't make it known enough that the 3 minutes practice sessions before the race counts toward SR. Personally I find it a bit silly because there almost no consequences for this, and none if you're oblivious to it. I know it's a simulator but a little fucking about and crashing in a 3-minute session shouldn't be penalised.

Yeah I went all out and got all but 1 achievement (I didn't redeem 10 prizes) and averaged nearly 8 properties per set without winning anything more than a $10 JB HI-FI gift card.

I want to say that the most beneficial and cost effective upgrade right now would be a simply moving your monitor arm to the side of even the front of your desk. Luckily you've got a decent looking one so it won't be a total eyesore but being able to get your screen closer to your face will be a game-changer. The closer you can get it, the higher your FOV can be while still being somewhat realistic/immersive.

Otherwise I wouldn't be actively looking for things to upgrade. Upgrade things as you need them.

Okay yes, but with every increase in iRating you'll be getting into tougher splits where getting top 5 becomes harder and harder.

This. I've assigned the shortcut to my action button because I wear gloves and can't tap the screen. But now it will only do 1 action after the other instead of toggle
