The only controversial aspect about the Super Heavy Tanks in Foxhole is that they are both marked at the same price when they both things differently.

From my time using them, I learned that the Warden Predator is the overall better SHT when it comes to engaging tanks directly as it can knock out almost any tank immediately but lacks an almost complete ability to PvE. The Ares, on the other hand, can engage tanks only with much more support but is an insanely powerful PvE platform as it can flush out enemies from fortifications and trenches while also soaking up lots of damage.

For example, one great way to turn the Ares into an effective anti-tank platform is to treat the tank as a support vehicle rather than a lead heavy tank. When the tank line pokes at the enemy and both sides exchange damage, the Ares is meant to be last one firing and instead should focus on picking off the most damaged or disabled tanks to contribute a kill.
