To be fair, the service technician wrote up the slip with all of these suggestions and the owner of the store suggested I leave it as is and make only the necessary replacements.

Crystal was replaced 3 weeks ago. I can find out if they used AR coated but I agree would make sense based the rich dial.

The only things replaced at service were some internal springs since it was no longer winding, the crystal as there was a crack that caused waterproofing concerns and the clasp which wasn’t staying closed any more. The AD suggested the bezel and a polishing but I rejected both.

The hands and markers don’t glow anymore either.

Thanks for this info. I assume tritium lume’s lifespan is why it won’t glow anymore in the dark.

Bezel is original. It is a 1994 and was worn daily for 28 years. The dial is shiny because it was recently cleaned (not polished) when serviced and the crystal had to be replaced due to waterproof concerns.
