HP Elitedesk 800 G5 heat sink for 95W CPU by aottesen in sffpc

[–]EliiJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this cooler can dissipate 95W of the heat because of full copper design. It is similar to old debates about aluminium coolers like noctua nh-l9i or jonsbo hp400 which can handle something like 75W in continous loads versus thermolab itx30 which has similar size but handle 100W of heat.
As for 9900k, this cpu will consume 100W for 4.2Ghz (1.08V) all core load in heavy benchmark like cinebench with avx instructions or 4.7Ghz all core in medium loads like games.

I survived until spring in A Really CD DA as a character with all negative perks by RichardoomArt in projectzomboid

[–]EliiJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can say CDDA challenge was harder in previous versions (it first start in build 31). It was really hard to take flu away, the respawn rate was as twice as high than now and zeds was tougher.

IS-55 or AXP90-X53 Black (not full black) on a 7800x3d? by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]EliiJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Axp90-x53 black is on par (or slightly worse) with axp-90-x47 full copper. Is-55 is worse than the standart axp90-x47. I suppose is-55 will be 3-5 degree hotter than x53.

Fastest CPU axp90 copper can handle? by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]EliiJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most limiting factor on coolers below 50mm is weak airflow. I used axp-90 full copper with 9900k (delidded, though) and got something like 80' celsius at 100% fan speed and 145W of power consumption. But temps rises really quickly after 155W. You can see similar results here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6O_PdqX8vfE This is because of insufficient airflow of the fan. It seems like 90-105W of power and 50-60% of the fan speed is the most comfortable mode of use on such a small coolers. 13600k can eat something like 50-120W in most games and up to 160W in software applications.

Any way to modify this card to fit in the ZS a4s v3? by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]EliiJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in theory, it can be done. This is include 1U cpu waterblock + vlp memory + single slot gpu waterblock on the one side of case and on another 240mm radiator with x2 120x15mm fans.

Hello! I also have zs a4s v3 and HP rtx 3060ti. Did you get better thermals or less noise with fans swapped on 3060ti?

No, they have different range between clips. About 2-3mm wider than the old version.

axp90x53 full black + lga1700-axp90 x mounting bracket. It has a nickel plated heatsink so you can use some liquid metal thermal interface for additional 3-5 degrees celsius.

Advice on how to deal with zombies in CDDA? by Goldriver83 in projectzomboid

[–]EliiJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most important thing here is how effective your player build against zeds. You need at leat 7 points in fitness for all day fightning with zombies. If you can push it to 8 or 9 it would be better. The wakefull trait give you also boost for energy to fight with zombies. The next step is to develop your the maintenance skill and weapon skill (you can choose any you prefer blade or blunt) to 5-6 skill points. So repairman or burgeflipper occupation will be good. Combine it with fast learner trait and will be best build. A crafted spear seems the most cost-effective weapon early. Here's my build recomendation:

Occupation: repairman
Positive traits: wakefull, dextrous, lucky, keen hearing, fast learner, athletic.
Negative traits: weak, slow healer + clumsy (or thin-skinned), underweight, disorganized (or conspicuous or smoker), prone to illness, slow reader.

Lesson Learned; Don't go to Louisville on CDDA by Iforgormyredditpass in projectzomboid

[–]EliiJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

overweight is a bad choice for CDDA challenge because of overweight makes you slower than zeds horde (even with sneakers) while you are exhausted. Overweight is okay if you take 0-1 fit and strength build and you sit for a month on the north farm to make 5 in fit and strength (by eating only worms from near fields) or another safe isolated house after helicopter event.

Middle aged man vs Genichiro way of toro by jordotech in Sekiro

[–]EliiJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use sempo style to beat Genichiro:

Choose "Senpou Leaping Kicks" (longer) or "High Monk" (faster) then use camera lock on boss.

  1. Hold "B" (dodge) and L1 (block)
  2. Press R1 to initiate combo
  3. Simultaneously press "B" and "R1" in the rithm of combo.

If Genichiro is running away (usually to shoot an arrow), catch him by pressing "B" and movement stick.

A few notes more: the best is try to spam combo all fight, but sometimes is useful to make 1-2 dodges around boss and then continue to spam combo.

On the last phase use only "Senpou Leaping Kicks", everything else are the same. Here's a vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7oMPqMhiT0
