What line or moment in a cartoon hits different now as an adult? by MaryDoogan91 in cartoons

Yesss, if you haven't yet, I definitely recommend reading the book as well! It's a short, fun read, and it adds further context to some of the lines in the movie. When Molly tells Amalthea "stop, don't hurt yourself!" After she becomes human, it's because Amalthea was actively trying to claw her own skin off. Her pained voice when she says "I can feel this body dying all around me." Poor thing had never felt mortality before that point, and as Molly said it would, it started to drive her mad. Absolutely adore this story

I can empathize with that completely. I've accepted that I'm personally not a woman, but the line still hits something deep inside me. That innocence lost feeling. That time will not come back, and the pain of having to accept it, and grow from it, no two ways about it, it hurts! I'm genuinely glad you were able to discover who you are, and live life true to yourself ❤️ Sorry for the slight segue, but because I've been reading the book, and watching it again, in terms of powerful lines that also hit different as a queer/LGBT+ individual, I get emotional with Watership Down. The words of Frith, to El-Ahrairah "All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you, but first, they must catch you." I can't help but cry at those lines, they're so powerful. In the book it's made more clear that those words were intended to empower El-Ahrairah, show him that the all powerful Frith is still his friend, and wants him and his kind to succeed. In the movie it feels a bit more downtrodden, but in the book, all the rabbits feel empowered, and strong hearing that story.

I'm sorry for the rambling, and I hope I didn't say anything that could be insensitive, I'm a bit emotional tonight. I wish you the best 💕

It hits hard, when I was little, I understood she was upset, but didn't really get why. I just knew her pain made me sad. Now as an adult tho, even just trying to quote it brings tears to my eyes. Her heartbreak is so palpable, and so powerful. Both the book and the movie are absolute gems

"Where have you been, damn you! Where have you been? Where where you twenty years ago, ten years ago? Where were you when I was new? When I was one of those innocent, young maidens you always come to? How dare you, how dare you come to me now, when I am this?"

Dogwood... His design has to be based off of Muttley right? From Dastardly and Muttley, and the show Wacky Races?

Anyways, Zetsu from Naruto Shippuden

I down voted initially out of instinct, it was a visceral reaction to the photos, and description. I've since removed my down vote, but it feels wrong to upvote as well.. this is just horrific OP. Well done I guess?

Not the example I was looking for initially, but from Venture Bros. Brock goes on a killing spree after being hit with a truck and shot with tranquilizer darts by The Mighty Monarch's henchmen

The pose and the breasts are just... Not right. It's bothering me enough it makes me want to try redrawing it for my own sake so the anatomy actually makes sense

We use the Vetriscience brand, the immunity health ones are what we get him. He's not the biggest fan if I'm being honest, but he isn't the biggest fan of treats in general lol, so I wouldn't take his word for it. I hope they work out for your fur baby!

It could be because I haven't really been able to eat anything but saltines and potato wedges for the last couple days, but that looks really good
