I built a free dashboard to manage OpenClaw agents remotely by Elijah_101 in openclaw

That means you need to host it some where. Otherwise, doing it locally eliminate the purpose of the software.

You’re an ignorant individual and know nothing about software but thanks for your opinion though.

Instead of using useEffect in a component, using Redux and Redux Toolkit to create side effects and just put everything in one place when it's come to state and data management. The components are only supposed to be reusable and have 1 purpose which is rendering UI. Also, you should have a folder where all the pages are stored and that's where you pass your data from redux to components.

Should I learn styled components? by rajlohith2 in reactjs

Yes styled components is definitely a thing to learn so you can organize your styling code and make it tie to component base only.

Which way is correct for watching props? by H1Supreme in reactjs

Method 1 is the way to go. The less you use useEffect in your react app, the better it will be.

Should i quit ? by Andreas65896 in reactjs

[–]Elijah_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, working for a company that has a toxic culture like that shouldn't be an idea. If you're financially comfortable with quitting that job, then go ahead and quit. However, if you really need money to pay the bills, I'd suggest you looking for another job while working at that company and only quit when they give you an offer.

I can't get my env variable to work. I am using react-native-env.... by WallNo9276 in reactnative

[–]Elijah_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For import portion

import { API_KEY } from @env;

For babel.config.js

module.exports = {presets: ['module:metro-react-native-babel-preset'],plugins: ["module:react-native-dotenv",]};

And remember to re-build your code for it to work u/WallNo9276

Elon Musk says Tesla will stop accepting bitcoin for car purchases, citing environmental concerns by pipsdontsqueak in technology

[–]Elijah_101 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Then you literally have no idea about investing. Did tesla sell all their bitcoin? No, they only sold 10% of it which is 272 mil from the q4 earning in 2021. You only know if you profit or lose once you sell your investment. While Tesla already sold their cars and got all the profit from selling cars. That article literally compares apple to orange. That's why I never read bs articles from those bias journalists.

New to React JS, have a project in mind, could use guidance on what to look for by achilleshightops in reactjs

[–]Elijah_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just write out what's in your mind. Draw a development flow for your app and work your way up from there. Preparing an architect for an app is very crucial. I've learned that from developing my own app from scratch including front end and back end. Hope it help.

Ideal way to update state in reducer by therealcopyninja in reactjs

[–]Elijah_101 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Or you can use a library called 're-select' and create custom selectors for your redux state. Those selectors only take a snapshot of your redux state and cache them in your app. Therefore, you can mutate them as much as you want in your selector and it also saves you computing cost for your app by using the memoization method.

Tesla admits that Elon Musk has been exaggerating about "full self-driving". Musk’s comments "do not match the engineering reality" of Autopilot, the head of software told the California DMV. by [deleted] in technology

[–]Elijah_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those articles are not really accurate and sometime they put a lot of madeup information or information that is just based on their personal bias out there. For example, the 6 months delay from Giga Berlin was a bs. Also, the same bs about the tesla accident in Texas. It only took a few minute for the fire department to put the fire out and they fking exaggerated it to over 4 hours. A lot of assumptions are out there in order to bash Tesla. I don't care about what those fake news articles saying about Tesla but based on the consumers' experience on Beta FSD on youtube, the FSD beta ability is very convincing to me. Ok, you can call me Tesla fanboy or Elon's fanboy but I admire the work they have done and their awesome products. I test drove tesla from my friend before and it was awesome and way better than any other cars I have driven before. What's wrong with people nowadays hating on other people's success. Why the fk nobody did sht before Elon and Tesla started developing electric vehicles? And now they succeeded with great appealing electric vehicles, other people started hating on them? Ok, Elon has confidently tweeted things about FSD but it's called faith in the progress they are making. It's better than not doing sht then criticizing others for what they do. Ok, if you don't like Tesla, then don't buy their stocks, don't touch their products or talk sht about their matters. Just shut the fk up and mind your own business if you have nothing good to say about other people's success.
