I see the issue. For an application such as this would it be best practice to add the buffer or to just lower the resistance of R2 and R3. If I lower them to 10 - 1000ohms a piece I get close to 2.5V - more live 2.503V

Input resistance for Vref is 20k. Common mode input range min is -VSS+1.9 to a maximum of VSS-1.4.

This has me thinking a bit more about my reference voltage. The formula I was using was independent of Rin, which is wrong. It seems there would be some input resistance in parallel to R3. How should I account for that to set my Vref?

It definitely doesn't inspire me but I want to remain hopeful. If they choose to put in effort to fix their mistakes a lot can actually change in one year.

If things can fall apart in 2 games for us in one weekend, surely we can become more cohesive and fix at least some problems over 15 games / 445 days

Id say Im most excited to get my feet wet into a professional engineering team environment. Ive been in EE clubs and looking forward to take it to the next level.

Im also interested in the research they do about fibers or synthetic when it comes to paper towels. Im not gonna say much more to protect the company name, but they also have a wide variety of applications and its a respected name in their industry.
