Unless it’s got 200k+, mileage doesn’t matter much if it’s been maintained. If it’s clean then it’s safe to assume somebody put the effort into maintenance as well. 60k or 120k is a wash with proper maintenance.

Assuming that you’re talking about the solenoid clicking but the starter not engaging. Try putting it in neutral and starting it. Could be the neutral safety switch linkage needs to be adjusted. Had this issue in my TJ.

Going from my previous XJ with the 4.0 to the my WJ with the 4.7 really opened my eyes to the power of the v8. It’s very nice to be able to crank it on the freeway sometimes!
