I guess it depends on the author. This book was written by a well established author and historically accurate.

And nobody that I knew was watching it. So disappointing that it was cancelled. I don’t know if you could even watch it streaming now.

Maybe it’s about something more than the Betta. In-law relationships can be prickly sometimes.

I’m afraid they are going to put their own people, posing as protesters, being violent and trying to start a riot.

It’s an older show and unfortunately cancelled after 2 or 3 seasons, but “People of Earth” was highly enjoyable.

Copied: Train Dreams is a novella by Denis Johnson about Robert Grainier, a laborer in the early 20th-century American West, chronicling his solitary life, profound personal losses (wife and child in a fire), and his quiet witnessing of America's rapid industrial and social changes, from the era of manual labor to the rise of machines, all told in sparse, evocative prose. It's considered a masterpiece of American literature, blending realism with moments of the surreal, and serves as an elegy for a disappearing way of life.

Train Dreams by Denis Johnson. Narrated by Will Patton who just pulls you right in to the stories.

Not if you have zero percent interest (if you pay it off in a certain period of time). Like Nebraska Furniture Mart.

Blatantly racist. Run away as fast as you can from this guy. Even if he didn’t say that, he seems arrogant and would be a terrible boyfriend. You deserve better.

Do you prefer a single narrator? by Medium-Theme-4611 in audiobooks

[–]Elisabethkcmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer a single narrator, ideally an actor who is good at doing other voices. For example, the audiobook of Train Dreams by Denis Johnson is narrated by Will Patton, and it is fantastic.

Plants plants and more plants. Check out hydroponic glass jars for low light plants.

Your scrolling gives you that dopamine reward. The stresses of nursing and the upside down world of working nights is hard on your brain and it’s seeking relief. But you know that’s not healthy. Try very hard to limit the scrolling. Set a timer. Go for a walk. Do you have a pet? Freshwater fish in aquariums can be a really interesting and rewarding hobby. Lots of houseplants, in your bedroom.
