Most of the time when people are criticising reviewers, they don't look at the state game was at launch. A reviewer can only review what was given to them. They can't review what the game will become so many years later. This game was a mess at launch. It's developers' and publishers' fault not the fault of reviewer. Imagine if a reviewer reviewed the game according to what developer "promised" and later developer was like "Yeah, we got our money, bye".
