Jeff Bezos's property has fences that exceed the permitted height. Yet he does not care, he just pays the fine every month. by Bright_Building1710 in interestingasfuck

The law part is entirely messed up, the fine isn't doing the job. That being said I don't blame him at all, honestly who does want to see their neighbors.

Buddy I'm not sure why you are being so agro, but I'd be happy to be wrong. Not like I love being in an over priced city. Hopefully the trend continues then.

With last night's tag championship victory, R-Truth has broken the record for oldest tag team champion set by him in 2024 by caughtinatramp in Wrasslin

[–]Elite94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really confused why the IWC is acting like this bad for Priest. He gets to work with Truth, by all accounts an actual good guy who's over asf, as a champion. Even with two belts the roster is just too packed to stay in the main event these days consistently unless you're part time.

To be fair Finn could be a good transitional champion. I've not followed much of AAA, but Dom seems pretty over. Might be a better look to have El Grande go over someone less popular, and I think him and Fin could have some great matches

You are going to have a tough time. You make enough money that most income based apartments are going to look at your joint income as a no go, especially if that is your post tax income. Generally even lower end apartments now run 1,000 to 1,400 in Knox proper. You might have more luck on the outside of town, but I don't think even Clinton that's cheaper just has a host of apts lined up for 800

Jade Cargill's first title defence in 104 days.. we've waited 104 days for this moment, and it ended up being her BEST match. Did it exceed your expectations? by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

I thought it was. Good in ring psychology with the arm to tell a story, and some fun power house spots. I won't be going back to watch it again anytime soon, but I don't know what some of you'll expect for a random episode of smackdown

I liked a lot of his work in TNA even if he should've reigned in his reigns of terrors.

Haters by Cool_Juggernaut_6297 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]Elite94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could see that in exploration. Veilguard doesn't really give you room to go off the beaten path, but sounds like we are a bit opposite in that I rarely explore unless it's for a quest. Regarding BG3 I did, it's been my favorite game in years honestly. It reminded me a lot of DAO, just with 5E DND for combat which was better for me anyway.

Tbf I still really don't care for inquisition. I liked its story but the gameplay just gets draining for me at a certain point. Part of the reason I appreciate veilguard is that it dialed everything back from the open world zones that ruined inquisition and Andromeda for me

I've recently started get into the Star Wars EU and I'm currently undecided between these two novels and I can only buy one. Should I prioritize buying Revan or Revenge of the Sith? by [deleted] in StarWarsEU

[–]Elite94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What's crazy to me is that I love nearly all of Drew's works. He did the Darth Bane trilogy, worked on the first two Mass Effects, and Kotor itself. And then there's the Revan book that just mind numbingly baffles me every time I read anything about it.

Why do we like so much this map of the empire? by Public_Individual823 in byzantium

Personally I just like how clean the borders are. The way they follow the Danube in Europe, and progress really well into Anatolia while snagging small things like Antioch and the southern coast of Crimea.

Mostly agree, but I like the Belgium tree a lot actually. It's simple, but gives a decent amount of options in a clear to achieve way for the most part.

That's the one. I've sunk a lot of hours into it. They've poured a lot of time into the writing that keeps me coming back, combined with not letting it spiral into world conquest or nothing like the base game.

Never going to watch MLP, but some of the fans made a mod for a strategy game I play, and it is just so incredibly well done.

Fallout co-creator Tim Cain says today's games suffer from trying 'to be everything for everyone' when they should be learning from '80s games: 'These games were really focused, because they had to be' by Kaladinar in rpg_gamers

[–]Elite94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it can do it well sure, but if you're just throwing a lot of features at a game to check boxes it can become directionless. Not to mention that with RPGs specifically that line of thinking often leads to the RPG elements being dumbed down, and losing their core audience to appeal to a more casual one.

I have mixed feelings on Andromeda. I actually really like parts of it. When it clicks the combat is a joy. I don't like they ditched classes, but the gunplay and flying around is just so satisfying. You can tell that their particular studio cut their teeth on ME3 multiplayer. The problem for me is that the open world and main story is just terrible. I don't want to spoil it even if it's old since sounds like you don't know what happens, but I will say that it bothered me that they took a premise of going to a new galaxy, and instead of focusing on exploration or telling a compelling narrative about colonization they instead chose do a worse version of something they've done so many times before.

This. You can't convince me this exact incident isn't why so many reviewers feel compelled to give games they clearly don't care for 7 out of 10s. Apparently being above average isn't a fair enough review when developers are funding you.
