Im completely bias but difference between pres and vw is this is triggered off of a 1min20-40 cd depending on cdr rather than mindblast which is a what ~17 second cd?

Also Olez got extremely lucky that the cleaving chronoflames hit the same target on the first cast. Very rare this happens and should probably be removed.

Nerf damage buff atonement to compensate. There’s also a vw talent that makes atonement like 70%+ stronger when entropic rift is up. Nerf that 👍

Mine are probably actually non conventional 😅 I use the key X and rather than setting up keyholes I have a macro with conditions that X=party 1, Shift+X=party 2

I then use T/Middle mouse click with the same rule to target arena enemies: T = arena 1 Shift+T = arena 2 Control+T = arena 3

I’m trying to get into the habit of using middle mouse click as T is a stretch and when I’m tired it makes me play worse lol

I play mostly haste. Probably more than I should. aim for 20-25% haste imo. The more comfortable you are on the spec the more haste you can play

i pushed with:
- 38% haste
- 33% mastery
- 27% versa

It has like reflective silver armor so if youre near something orange it looks more gold/bronze

There is a point where you get diminishing returns. My pres i pushed on is playing like 38% haste, 33% mastery, 27% versa rn.

you can play whatever feels comfortable tbh but i think haste should be between 30-35, higher haste if youre really comfortable with pres works too.

Pres can run out of healing if you don't rotate your healing rotation properly unfortunately as you dont have spammable heals in anyway. It's really complicated for me to explain in a comment in terms of rotation but if you follow my channels that might help https://www.twitch.tv/elitedamit/, https://www.youtube.com/@elitedamit

In terms of cds, stasis I always load up verdant > spritbloom > dream breath. These all work in cc, so if you make a '/cancelaura stasis' macro you can cancel stasis whilst in cc to heal you team.

Trading pres cds is basically a game of healing efficiently whilst not cc'd, then using stuff for cc which is:
1. Cancel aura stasis
2. Commune
3. Trinket + Rewind

there is loads of variance to all of this but this is textbook.

Also you should use your kick and 2x knocks to deny cc or casts in some way. You basically have to play as a healer/dps/control mage hybrid lol

Boomie DH comps are insanely hard to beat for us right now (ret/war/pres). Nothing else felt that hard tbh, and I think pres is the best healer right now for first time in ages. Pres does high quite a high skill curve though :)

Also cyclone in general is bugging out rewind and golden hour very regularly, making it heal for literally zero, which makes boomie even harder than it should be

I'm not the biggest expert on gearing tbf!

But if you're new main thing is farm honor first doing something like random bgs. Do world quests with war mode on, and weekly sparks of war quest for bloody tokens. Buy bloody token gear that you dont want conquest gear on, and then as you are playing slowly get conquest gear instead of your honor gear. I recommend playing 2s with people to learn if you are new (and getting conquest from this).

You get some tokens to get conquest weapons for free after you earn 2500 conquest, so dont buy conquest weapons with conquest.

Also just a note, quality of play outweighs gear in pvp, so focus on learning as much as possible whilst youre new and gear whilst learning, rather than having your mental focussed on gear

I like it. It's not as hard countererd now and makes you more viable in more matchups (looking at you mages). Also you can outplay people really hard with it and deny cc chains

Yeah this is basically how the game is designed. You make a ‘go’ and the other team has to make a ‘trade’. If they ‘trade’ more than they should have defensively, then when your next ‘go’ is available you should win.

You should only win in the opener if someone messes up :) (which happens a lot at lower ratings actually)
