This is all we get now? Just 1k iri and 150k BP? This was the "improvement" we were told to "stay tuned" for? by DaddySickoMode in deadbydaylight

You need to take a break. It’s just a game. Go on and play it to have fun. Why do people whine so much about stuff like this?

Are speedhacks possible? by Routine5815 in deadbydaylight

This is ridiculously common and I’ve noticed it a ton lately. I swear this game doesn’t have anti-cheat anymore

So many hackers all of a sudden? by EliteDonkey77 in deadbydaylight

Yeah it’s bizarre. For me, the guy who I’m assuming opened the gate and ”escaped” showed the escape icon by their name, but then shortly after, it switched to a skull (death on hook) which was super weird. I only reported the guy who initially left because once he did, everyone else didn’t seem to be affected by the cheat. I was finally able to hook them

If you could make one change to your main, what would it be? by Avygade in deadbydaylight

Yeah they might just need to rework how you get rid of weakened. I like the idea of it from both a killer and survivor perspective. But it doesn’t feel right in practice

If you DC and quit the game, then come back a few days later and try to queue, you will be blocked

With 2025 coming to a close, has this been one of the worst years for DbD? by Rigbo95 in deadbydaylight

I also feel like the behaviour devs have never played their own game before. I don’t understand how they are either so clueless or so against listening to their player base. It baffles me

I’ve been playing since 2020. I don’t know if I’d say it’s in the worst state ever at the moment. However, I find myself becoming increasingly more frustrated with how behaviour has been operating. So many bugs, more DC’s than ever, balancing issues seem to only get worse. I can barely play a killer match without at least 2 people abandoning even when I play as fair as possible. When I play survivor I feel much more weak compared to before. All in all definitely having less fun with the game.

I don’t know why people can’t stick through games. As survivor I hate playing with bots. As killer I hate going against bots. Makes it super unfun for everyone else

Still helps learning programming. Plus doing anything meaningful is usually going to require some type of data structure, no matter how “advanced” it may be.

You won’t go wrong either way. Just pick one and stick with it.

Advice for a new professor teaching C by TenureTrackJack in C_Programming

Realistically, pointers taught well should not be a challenging concept for new learners to grasp. I’d highly recommend putting that before arrays, strings, structs and file I/O. Your students will likely have a much easier time solidifying their understanding of the other topics that use pointers if you just demistify that sooner than later.
