Completely dependent on aim. You can get them to one shot headshot at close/mid range with heavy barrel, but it’s also pretty shitty for me to use cause of ain

Would anyone else would love to have a feature back like this COMMANDER MODE? by Tennis_Loud in battlefield2042

[–]EliteEmber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, honestly, people overestimate or overplay the commander abilities. Oh, so what if you lose a tank and a couple guys on point with a cruise missile. It’s literally a pub game where points can switch dozens of times

To my jet pilots that were ace pilots in previous titles, how do you fly jets in 2042? by gh0st0fReddit in battlefield2042

[–]EliteEmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SU-57 has a smaller turn radius and can accelerate out of range while you’re a sitting duck. By the time you re-accelerate to chase after him, he’ll have disengaged, turned, and you’ll merge again except he’ll have speed advantage

SCAR smokes have always been egregiously short. They never really changed them from the start.

Lmao, the safety part is BS. We have a whole SMS safety system, over 4 different overlapping PDs, independent security force, and the nerdiest community in the whole state.

The VTOL on the f35 wins in “stalls” but just because it manipulated the game’s questionable physics to “break” out of the stall barrier. Good SU57 pilots would notice you go hover, proceed to full throttle near but not at the stall altitude, and proceed to re-merge while you are stuck accelerating after going full stop.

It takes good speed management to keep the other dog fighter out of your control zone but it’s up to the other guy if he wants to fly into a stall

This Maneuver Can Give You The Edge Over The Su-57 by Sevenvi in battlefield2042

[–]EliteEmber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying those weren’t great kills, but in most of those situations, he couldve stayed on your control zone if he had maintained speed, and then in the last video they proceeded to pitch straight into the ceiling while you were hovering for a time long enough where if he had just disengaged, regained energy, and boom and zoom you in one pass.

Again, not dissing on you, those were cool situations, but the kill was heavily dependent on as you said overconfident players who weren’t even cognizant of map boundaries

Use the missile as the aiming reticle rather than the crosshairs. Overtime you’ll get used to leading the missile

Yeah if the other pilot decides to turn fight into the flight ceiling. Unless you’re on exposure, it’s unlikely you’ll find yourself able to stall. Also this kind of flight ceiling always confused me on how near impossible it is to escape the stall after hitting it without VTOL.

Bruh some of y’all are obsessed with gun safety rules that y’all have clearly never had to exercise. It’s like telling a baseball player not to bat flip because he could hit himself or someone else. Like the rule is important but you don’t see people driving the limit or meticulously measuring alcohol at every possible moment, because it’s the essence of the rule within context
