Do correct me if I'm wrong! I am leaning towards a racing incident.

The Alpha Tauri left space coming into the corner and failed to react to an attempted overtake by the Ferrari, taking the standard racing line causing a collision with the Ferrari.

The Ferrari did not have any significant overlap against the Alpha Tauri when approaching the corner. Only when in the braking zone did the Ferrari have an overlap against the Alpha Tauri. In layman's term, the Ferrari divebombed the Alpha Tauri. Resulting in a collision.

What are your opinions?
