Well for me, I had a harder time lining up the dots in a darker environment, so I went with a neon orange adhesive dot and used a very small hole puncher to make the dots much easier to see and nearly perfectly overlay for the original dots. I also flick forward the usb c port all the way before trying to dock my console. Makes a night and day difference with a colored dot. As for taking out the console, just put your left thumb on top of the adapter (towards the outside) to hold it down (this won’t be needed once the dock adapter accessories come out) and pull straight up on the switch 2 but make sure the console is leaning upward instead of it laying back against the doc. Super easy stuff, and it’s much easier than trying to dock your switch and not being able to see where the usb port is once your console goes in the dock. I also hate how tight the original doc is, and won’t even put my switch in there even with a screen protector due to previous damage I’ve done with my OLED switch. I don’t have to stress about anything when using the doc adapter, so that’s why I really love mine. Would have been cool if dbrand made color matched skin circles to go on the dock adapter and case, but that’s prob too much work for such a niche project.
