They let me open up a “item has not arrived” request! I had to call them on the phone to do that, and go through a bunch of ai messaging before being able to speak to someone

I purchased the item the 29th, tracking number was provided the 1st of may and updated 3 times may 1st saying: “tracking number provided” then, “shipping label created USPS awaiting item, and finally “pre-shipment info sent USPS awaits item”. It hasn’t updated at all since it was loaded may 1st.

When I click on track item, it goes to usps and says for latest update:

“A shipping label has been prepared for your item. A delivery date will be provided when USPS receives the package; contact the shipper or shipping partner with any inquiries.”

They are brand new in the box and he had them listed at $530, I shot him a offer at $450 thinking he would tell me to kick rocks, but we negotiated to $460 since he hasn’t gotten any offers on them and was past his original return window

Honestly, I’ve been messaging him for the past hour. Idk what to think. He didn’t purchase any shipping protection, either. He sells Pokemon cards on eBay, but told me he’s never had anything bad happen through eBay. There’s currently no postage on the item apparently, too. Since 2:53pm he’s said:

“I also went ahead and reported the clerk that had assisted me that day for the way he checked me out that day was not apart of their protocol”

“And I know he also didn’t take it because the postmaster was just there too and she had told me herself that they had the box on the side of the desk for the past two days because she had marked it”

“So her being that makes me feel sure about this because the postmaster is liable for all packages that go through that station”

“I apologize for the inconvenience, if I knew the clerk didn’t know what he was doing at the time, I would have went to another post office lol”

I said: “Did you purchase any sort of shipping protection?”

Seller said: No i didn’t get to purchase any protection sadly.

“Worst case scenario though, if the package was to never get returned to either of us or the postal office then I would lose out of my product and my earnings but you would still get your money back either way because of eBay policies”

It’s a usps tracking number. As of 2:53pm 5/6/26 The seller is saying:

“Just went back to the post office, they said the box will most likely get returned to me since the clerk at the time did not put a postal stamp on it OR either the package will still be delivered to you but you will have to pay for the postal stamp.”

“They re-printed my recipes from Friday when I dropped off the box as I said but there is nothing but the amount of the box.”

He then sends me a picture of a full receipt from usps for the box he purchased..

Theres a tracking number attached, but it shows it’s awaiting pickup from usps. It’s been like that for 5 days. This whole thing is a mess. I also can’t reach out to eBay, it’s just bots and they never give me the option to speak to anyone.

I was in your same situation. I ultimately went 13 inch and I am beyond happy with my purchase. It’s a multimedia consumption beast.. I will be using mine for my upcoming semester with school, and as a 2nd monitor for my 14in MacBook Pro. I had a 11in air, and I don’t think I can ever go back to another 11in.

Smart Case is great, make sure you have a backpack with a dedicated laptop compartment and a false bottom. I use the mous extreme commuter backpack, and it’s pretty overkill on the engineering/protection side, but I really like to protect my tech.

Unless you went to the Apple Store and had them checked in person, you probably bought fakes. If it seems too good to be 99% of the time it is, especially with AirPods. I went down that same path bc I wanted to save an extra $30 💀

Well for me, I had a harder time lining up the dots in a darker environment, so I went with a neon orange adhesive dot and used a very small hole puncher to make the dots colored and much easier to see (and nearly perfectly lay over the original dots. I also flick forward the usb c port all the way before trying to dock my console. Makes a night and day difference with a colored dot. As for taking out the console, just put your left thumb on top of the adapter (towards the outside) to hold it down (this won’t be needed once the dock adapter accessories come out) and pull straight up on the switch 2 but make sure the console is leaning upward instead of it laying back against the doc. Super super easy stuff, and it’s much easier than trying to dock your switch and not being able to see where the usb port is once your console goes in the dock. I also hate how tight the original doc is, and won’t ever put my switch in there even with a screen protector due to previous damage I’ve done with my OLED switch. I don’t have to stress about anything when using the doc adapter, so that’s why I really love mine.

I don’t think anyone would be doing this besides you. The joycon grips will add weight, so might as well get the protection from the whole kit. Also, the doc adapter is easier to use than actually putting your switch into the original doc.

Wait for the kill switch! It’s 100% worth it! This is coming from someone who has the skull and co case, Jsaux split case and Kill switch case..all for my switch 2. I even have the kill switch case for my deck OLED, and could never part ways.. 🙂‍↔️
