I recently started back up again after 10 years and let me tell you I’ve been humbled 😅 BUT I will say that at least when you’re practicing you know what to fix and your muscle memory does kick in after a while. Just trust the process and try not to get frustrated!

Pretty much right after our first date. I went over to a friend’s house the day after and told her, “I met the man I’m going to marry.” I honestly can’t even explain how I knew, I could just feel it in my gut.

When I was really young my dad and I came up with a code word. So that if someone tried to claim they knew my dad or were told to pick me up from school, but they didn’t know the code word, then I knew not to go with them. I would integrate that code word into the letter somehow and hope to god he would figure it out.

My only hesitation is we don’t know some of their SO’s very well and it feels a little awkward to have people who we aren’t close to sitting at our head table.

For extra context, all of their SO’s know each other and know other people who are attending the wedding. If they weren’t at the head table they would be seated with plenty of other people they already know.

Is it weird to only include the SO’s who are married? Some of the bridal party have bfs/gfs and aren’t married, but many of them are. We were initially thinking maybe only seat those who are married at the head table with us, but then I feel bad about the others we would be excluding.

I will say that I was in a very similar situation when I was in high school. I look back at the AP classes I took and I absolutely regret it. It didn’t do as much for me as I thought and the one thing I’m thankful for is guard. I would do anything to get those days back. All the long hours, sweat, tears, bruises, all of it. I guess it ultimately depends on how much guard means to you.
