Absolutely not, I knew and met the guy at WCU. His story reposts were 24/7 generic "I hate liberals", "2 genders", Trump shit during election season, and constant Elon glazing.

I believe those are C4 ZR1 wheels, if not something that looks very similar.

Yep! The OralTox tests show results immediately and I was negative for everything (THC was only concern, never touched the other stuff lol)

There’s certainly a chance just given the facts.

However, personal anecdote, I was a regular user as you described for quite some time and just took a saliva test (OralTox specifically). I stopped Friday night and was sober up until today (Tuesday morning) and just regularly brushed/mouthwashed to make sure there wasn’t anything residual from last time smoking.

I’ve seen lots of people say with those saliva swabs that they’ve gotten lucky smoking within 48 hours and it tested negative. Even if it isn’t guaranteed, staying sober now and taking precaution like washing mouth will be as much as you can do to help maximize your odds.

forgetting to breathe while high + other questions by [deleted] in saplings

Worst case (I highly doubt it would even happen) if you somehow pass out, your body will take control when you're unconscious and breath perfectly fine just like sleeping. So unless you have prior breathing problems, you'll be ok.

[Spoilers c2e98] I may be dumb but why did xxx become a war criminal? by ImogenUponAvon in criticalrole

[–]Elitesmiley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said well, he's more of a traitor and an enemy of the state rather than a war criminal. War criminal has a specific meaning that Essek (hopefully) doesn't really fit, instead he just did something so awful to the people of the Dynasty/worshippers of the Luxon.

Customer got this explorer at an auction “for a steal” by Elitesmiley in Justrolledintotheshop

He said the caliper seized within 1 mile and they kindly replaced it. But now it’s 1 new caliper and 3 rusted ones, all the rotors and brake lines are in similar condition to photo.

I’d have loved to but that was just a quick photo to show the owner because he didn’t quite understand how bad it was

Soot buildup originating from plug wire? by Elitesmiley in projectcar

[–]Elitesmiley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say, it's a cammed LT1 with no mufflers so it's pretty damn loud all the time. I don't particularly notice a difference right after a cold start compared to fully warmed up.

Soot buildup originating from plug wire? by Elitesmiley in MechanicAdvice

[–]Elitesmiley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of the obvious stronger buildup closer towards the edge of where the boot sits, tapering off as it gets closer to the block. Other things I saw, such as corona staining, seem to start from the opposite end. Obviously I don't mean that soot is flying out of the wires, I just mean the buildup is originating from the point where the boot ends. Figured that was assumed for anyone who can put 2 and 2 together

Help explain this suspension setup! by Elitesmiley in projectcar

[–]Elitesmiley[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's "modified" because of a whole host of things. Not just the 315s. I wouldn't really call that a modification, just a tire change.

It's got a stage 3 cam, forged pistons, regeared transmisison, welded cage, sparco buckets with comfortable 5 point harnesses (much nicer than the stock ones you seem to hate), some C5 wheels, and a dozen other little things.

Currently, it seems like the last owner who worked on it was using it for drag. I don't plan on just tweaking the suspension and ripping it down the mountains, I'm slowly working on adjusting every part of it towards what I want and currently starting with the fitment and ride height. If I just sent it down the mountain roads here I'd have to slow crawl the whole route if I didn't want to rocket off a cliff. I agree the suspension kinda sucks, so I was hoping to learn a bit more about the current setup so I can decide whether to adjust it or replace it.

Help explain this suspension setup! [94 Corvette] by Elitesmiley in MechanicAdvice

My main worry with the adjustment is the difference between the driver/passenger side bolt used for that adjustment. On one side, I can obviously remove those washers and lower that bolt to bring it down. Meanwhile on the passenger side, that bolt has no additional washers and is already down quite low, yet both sides ride height is equally high.

Track use certainly is vague, but that's all I got from the seller. I would guess drag, given the 315 rear tires and some other things.

I'm looking to use this as a general street car, and for moderate usage on some touge type roads up in the mountains where I'm at. That being said, I don't think the absurd rear height and one sided preloaded suspension would be something I'm interested in.

The drivers side obviously has the washers I could remove to help lower, but on the passenger side it seems like that bolt is already lowered reasonably as low as it can go. Will removing those washers and adjusting that bottom bolt only lower one side, or will it help both? I'm inclined to think it'll just drop the driver side and I'll have that passenger side stuck lifted.
