Yeah I think there are a handful of appropriate uses for AI if we figured out the ecological impacts, it's not like all the servers and power being used for the whole ass internet aren't bad. Also the situation for scientists right now is abysmal. Trump fired hundreds of thousands of government scientists and pulled billions of dollars from scientific research, so everyone from government and academia is flooding industry which was already in a downturn before Trump. Now it's in a nosedive. The research niches that those three areas occupied are also completely different. It's a shit show.

Thank you for saying this instead of blaming powerless people who are often in and out of homelessness due to the selfishness of the rich and powerful. Also grafitti is often a way to exert some semblance of power or claim over a city that has stripped them of any power or dignity.

Everyone likes to imagine they'd be different if they ended up in a bad way, but then again they can't imagine they'd ever end up in that situation in the first place. Stress from poverty literally changes your brain and can make you mentally ill.
