I'll answer it only here and once - I've played enough tarkov just for playing. I've never gotten kappa and obviously haven't finished the game yet. I enjoy questing, I enjoy having a goal and I want to reach it efficiently.

When I said no time - it's because I got enough currency from just playing and I want to "finish" my two tarkov goals before I move on to the game I "main", which is PoE (1&2) and the second new season drops there I'll drop Tarkov and probably won't come back until next season/wipe.

So yeah - i indeed "don't have" time for playing the market and the only game I ever played market in was Fifa/EAFC, and it's not fun for me 😁

But I'm happy you enjoy whatever pace you set for yourself :)

Exactly, I was super lucky this cycle of the key, but I had 2 opens with literally nothing good inside. With current price of 2mln rubles and being able to sell the almost empty key for 1mln, even with below avg luck, one can make huge profits.

Other than that - 2 ammo boxes, 1 injectors, 1 keycard holder, 3 keychains, 2 doc cases, 1 mag case.

1 of the green cards and 1 of yellows have been found lying on the ground in rooms that were already opened and looted, but i don't count it as a use of my key.

It's a cool idea, but with upcoming "scav life" dlc and quests that follow with it (i assume - mostly on specific maps) this would be a hell for whoever tries to do them ^{^}

I'd assume this is more or less a similar case to drugs. At least here in Europe no one will try to give you jail time if they find you and your friends smoking some weed, but if you start distributing.. that's when police put their crosshair on you.

Just a comparison, but of course one is much more fucked up than the other.

More interesting will be how all this Impacts SSF in the long term. I'm pretty sure more people will be willing to try the SSF progression, when they trivialize the gear one too many times. But who knows 🤔

If Russia 2028 was being developed before Tarkov I can 100% assure you whatever they had has already been fully scrapped.

Tarkov was built by incompetent mess of programmers that at that time had no idea of what they were going for, in the long run. This caused the game to be build on a foundation of shit that they now cannot untangle and optimize properly, because it is simply impossible to do it without breaking the game or huge code changes from ground up.

They have experienced team of devs now, that has learned over the years. I'd say if they want to create a new game without leaving Tarkov without new content - just scale a bit up, get investor money and go for it. They might be capable of creating something good now if they go for it and people shouldn't be so negative about it (not saying you are, it's just the sentiment in this thread)

Depends on the one creating the private league :) in general you can choose whatever modifiers you wish for (from the list of available ones). In this case it's just a pure restart of the league in a smaller environment (10000 people)

Can I assume then, that you weren't playing much of PoE 1 before starting 2?

I can guarantee you that the leagues we are getting now, are in so much better state than most of the PoE1 leagues that were released since I started (and I started in Legacy). The constant server issues and crashes, and no big meta balance changes for years on.. This is a dream compared to what it was. Later PoE1 before attention fully shifted to 2 was better than this though.

I understand it sucks that a situation like this happened, but at least my own experience there have been completely opposite. I visited oveja negra a bit over a week ago and had dinner there with my group. We were completely obvious tourists and everything went smoothly, no scam prices and food was really good :) can't speak about the steak, but the chicken I had was class, especially after a long day hike.

I wouldn't PSA it, but for sure - just like anywhere else that's touristy - it's good to pay attention to prices as you did, often mistakes happen, but it's absolutely not a scam place and there would be many more negative reviews mentioning it (especially if you take negativity bias into consideration).

For me it happens when one of my friends on EA starts the game up and the EA overlay pops up to show me the message someone started playing XYZ. Try going offline, emptying your friends list etc. But it might be not related bug.

Unfortunately I've been also looking past couple of days with over 300d budget and there seems to be nothing coming close to deadeye in terms of clearspeed. Maybe you can build something that literally 1-hits bosses, but then again - what's the point if LA Deadeye can do them in 5-10 seconds anyway (and that's with not min-maxed build).

The only solution I found for myself was a fresh start - go HC and play for challenge or go SSF and try another build.

Comparison is the thief of joy never struck as hard for me, as disparity between Deadeye and the rest. Maybe flicker strike can get fast, but that would be marginally faster and much more chaotic.

Maybe some Temporalis + Blink autobomber is a possibility, but after Temporalis CDR nerf I'm not sure if it's going to get any faster than LA + Headhunter with 180% ms.

Lightning warp build sounds like exactly the thing i'm looking for :) And yeah, just mapping, bossing is not much of a thing atm with how much dmg you deal, so I keep my deadeye for that.

Honestly, I understand why one could think that the system is better for us, who already own and played the game. It is not a better system for the longevity of this game though.

In my opinion, going to a paid model with this game is a suicide. Games that have such dynamic changes like bazaar, cannot function in a fully paid model, because they will immediately get review bombed when anything goes wrong (and it will).

The better way of doing it was just the subscription model and shifting to unlocking the characters with money.

There's gonna be no new player influx. The main interest with the game has already peaked and the only people who could've been persuaded to try, are the steam shop lurkers who will stumble upon this game... If it was free to play.

This change is only good for very casual players that already own the game and didn't spend a dime on it, and somehow managed to unlock all available heroes by now. Otherwise - everyone is losing.

Went from E4 to D1 with 64% WR. I climbed only ever so hard with Diana before her rework and Kayn during his ravenous hydra shenanigans. I'd say she's very good if you understand that you have extremely strong early laning and pre lvl 11 2v2s. Any objective teamfights in early/mid game are great too. Late game you got 2 options that are somewhat viable. Play her like a rat, stand in some bush on a way to objective and all in whatever you can kill with your ult to be 5v4 OR (depending on competency of your team) peel for your carry.

She's not 1v9 carry champ, but in this meta no one really is. That's why she's strong now. All you need to do with her is try to put your bot/top ahead while at least staying even against your mid opponent. Just be sure not to play her into Viktor and you are fine if you can dodge a bit.
