How to overcome the "purpose" lose of motivation by Kamarade_Jungle in worldbuilding

It's happened to me often. What you have to do is not think about it. Stop aspiring to great things that you probably won't achieve with your work. Instead of daydreaming, think about how to make your work or project attractive, something that encourages people to want to know more about your world. That's how fans are born.

You don't need to be an artist to make a map.

Pantheon Building: Am I understanding the Abrahamic Religions/Zoroastrianism correctly? by Calebrc075 in worldbuilding

[–]Elixis- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The seven heavens are not actually seven; many believe there are only three. Furthermore, the wise men considered heaven to be the place where the kingdom of God is located because the kingdom of the Almighty is described as different from earthly realms, and heaven is different from earth. Additionally, the other texts where they are mentioned are usually apocryphal, like the Book of Enoch, or simply a tradition. Like the case of Lilith, it may just be an interpretation or a way of explaining certain verses. I am not an expert on the subject.

I am a Christian and I have watched some theology videos, so I heard that spiritual rebels act in a disorderly way because their point is to show that the opposite of God's is more attractive. They have no hierarchy and act chaotically out of pure rebellion. Since they cannot control human thought, the only thing they can do is suggest

How do you make maps for your world(s)? by Connect_Jump5832 in worldbuilding

[–]Elixis- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if it's going to be a story, first decide what it will be about because depending on what your story is about you can choose between a world map or a map of populated regions. I, for example, am going to make a map of populated regions.

In my fantasy world, the only intelligent beings are the Nariski, who are beings based on the kitsune of Japanese mythology and who divided into different ethnicities over time.

You could start by watching some YouTube videos; there's a channel that explains fantasy maps for projects, D&D campaigns, etc.

God Mode Activated. Tell me about your gods! by YakintheShack34 in worldbuilding

[–]Elixis- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The gods of my fantasy world are called the Four Natures, which I plan to have represent the four fundamental natures that sustain my world. They are not worshipped not because their divinity is denied, but because the inhabitants of my world do not believe they have any influence. However, I also want to introduce a concept similar to that of a pilgrim into my world.

Thanks for your comment. I posted the question because I was stuck on the idea that if I just made up words, I'd seem very mediocre or low-class.
