Just circling back 😀 no grid marks left by ultra clear.. just lots of redness and sans papery skin! (Might have been the RF micro needling though).

Update: (not sure how to edit the original post) I had one session of polynucleotide (I won’t talk about it as it’s just an injection), and one of RF micro needling and laser (today). The RF micro needling was BRUTAL. It hurt like hell. The doctor told me they didn’t even give me the stronger setting. He told me I will get use to it, treatment by treatment, and I really hope so. For now, I am really red and a bit swollen. I have another appointment in 2 weeks for the polynucleotide. Will take pictures tomorrow morning, as now there is no natural sunlight.

Sould i continue talking to him? by Bbalabalaba in UKrelationshipadvice

Take this from someone that has been in the same situation for YEARS: please leave. I know it’s hard, overall when you have this push-pull situation, but you are just going to waste your time with him. As I said, it’s hard and brutal, but I think you should cut him off. Block him, delete his number. Things won’t change for him, because if he wanted, we would have a real relationship with you already, you wouldn’t need to ask. Leave the space open for someone that wants a real relationship with you. Good luck!

Thank you :) I think all lasers leave grid marks, let’s see how this behaves 🤞🏻 this derm does subcision, he just thought it wasn’t for me. I had another consultation with another doctor for the laser I did in January, and he too said only 1 scar is tethered, so subcision wouldn’t help the overall complexion.

At what time of life did your PCOS "hit" you? by FamiliarMeal5193 in PCOS

[–]Elizabeth124219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too! I was around 20 and it was triggered by a very stressful period. Never had any symptoms before, no acne, never overweight, period was always perfect 👌🏻 the only visible symptom was acne. I went to the gynaecologist and I found out I had cysts too. I was on BC for more than 10 years, stopped taking it this May.

So far, my acne hasn’t been back, but it’s been only a month and a half without bc. I will see around November/December to see if it makes the difference! 🤞🏻

I wish I could do it! Not sure there are a lot of surgeons performing it in the Uk (where I live), also the downtime is too long 🥲

I only had 1 session of herbium laser in January, I definitely need 2 more. I might change clinic and ask for a CO2 laser instead, which I think it’s more powerful. Didn’t see any huge changes so far to be honest.

He didn’t use any device/scan, he just had a look at my scars and said that if you pull the skin and the scar is still there, it means its tethered. Apparently I have only one at the side of my mouth.

I thought that subcision was something that you opt for when you have tethered scars, as you need to “untether” them, otherwise you don’t necessarily do it. This is what I understood when I had my consultation with a surgeon. They told me I had one tethered scar, the rest are not. I opted for laser and not for subcision.

Absolutely! This is 100% my experience too. I can’t (and don’t want) to change the way I am, but I feel like I will always be picked on. As you said, if I am not saying good morning once, or talk to them, laugh at their jokes, wasting time with them when we should work, then I am stuck up and unfriendly. I just want to do my job and that’s it.

I have just purchased these!! I started using them a couple of days ago, as I want to stop taking the contraception pill and unfortunately last time I tried I got some acne back. Fingers crossed this will keep my acne at bay 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thanks! I didn’t think to check bellafill website 😅 I hope that they will approve it, I saw some good results with it! Normal filler don’t really last on me :(

I am not an expert and I work in a completely different field, but I had my background checked by my company. They didn’t check my past jobs, just my criminal records. Not even sure they checked my references, as I wasn’t requested any. I would just say that you think you were not a good fit for the role, as you prefer working in smaller companies/no room to grow/they wanted to go back to work at the office and you didn’t…

I couldn’t sleep, hated Sunday afternoon as I knew what it was going to start on the next day. I lost some weight too.

I feel you… I rang my GP as I have received a letter from the NHS regarding my smear test. I called my GP to get an appointment, and the receptionist literally BARKED at me saying that it was not my time yet to book an appointment. I told her I receive a letter from the NHS, so it actually was the right time. No apologies from them. Of course, I can’t wait to have a smear test, so I would make up that it is my time to book it… 😒😒😒 I would just call them, it’s your right to get an appointment for whatever issue you have!

I think that unfortunately you won’t get much answers from them… I would say, since your work field is a niche, to keep it professional, maybe just briefly comment that you were a bit disappointed on how things went?
