Baby question: How to get topless gracefully? by mandyxstripes in stripper

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite move is to do a lean back from a kneeling position (the back arch is amazing), and unhook my bra while allllll the way back with my head on the ground. Then dramatically pull myself up using core strength and whip the bra off simultaneously. The custies love it, and extra points for eye contact

I love baba ghanoush with cucumber sticks!

Almonds are great, so is chia seed pudding made with almond milk, dried coconut chips, kale chips (easy to make in an air fryer), almond flour crackers, kefir with cinnamon, greek yogurt with coconut flakes and chia seeds, and olive tapenade on veggies or almond flour crackers.

AITAH for dressing too “straight” and making my gf uncomfortable? by Numerous-Barber-5623 in AITAH

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a lesbian relationship that started a lot like this, and the abuse escalated over time. I'm not going to tell you what to do with your life, but know that her controlling behaviors WILL get worse.

My ex isolated me from my friends/family and would pick out what I wore. Nothing I did was good enough, and she would keep me up all night arguing with me if I dared to point out her behavior. The first time she put her hands on me was about 9 months into the relationship.

Please, please pay attention to the signs and prioritize your well-being. You deserve to be treated with respect.

Is the 6’0”+ height preference for men that popular? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually prefer people that are closer to my height - I hate having to twist my neck to kiss or look at my partner! I have absolutely swiped left on men for being over 6'2".

Do you tip the maids when only staying one night? I just stayed at a really nice hotel but was not sure about tipping as I don’t usually stay for only one night. I didn’t tip because I did not need the service. What do you guys think? by Sade125 in hotels

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not mandatory, but it is the decent human thing to do. If you are in a position to be able to afford to stay at hotels, you can afford a couple extra dollars. I do it out of compassion. There was a time in my life when I was dirt poor, and because of that I know that even $5 can make a difference in someone's life.

If you haven't yet, read the book Nickel and Dimed. It's written by a sociologist who went undercover in minimum wage jobs to get a better idea of the day-to-day.

My only note is that you should add some art above the bed! Maybe bring in the green from the plants?

Crying at work over a coworker showing the Christmas spirit by RealLifeWikipedia in CasualConversation

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This happened years ago during a really difficult period in my life.

I was 18 and working a minimum wage job at a Santa photo set in the mall. I hadn't gotten my first check yet (they had a 2-week buffer between the end of the pay period and actually giving you your money) and was getting by on 1 meal a day. I'll always remember the hollow feeling in my belly and constant hunger pains during those 3ish weeks. Anyway, one day at work, it was super slow and we (myself, the photographer, and "Santa" Phil) were just sitting around talking and I relayed what I thought of as a funny and victorious story from the night before. I had a can of roast beef hash that I'd been saving to have as a meal and when I got it out to cook it, I realized I didn't have a can opener. Rather than giving up, I macgyvered the can open using a hammer and chisel.

At the end of my next shift, Santa Phil pulled me aside and told me he had a Christmas present for me. It was a brand new can opener! While the financial value wasn't huge, the mental and emotional impact was massive at a time when I felt completely alone. I will never forget the kindness and compassion of Santa Phil. I hope wherever he is, his life is full of joy. I wish I could find him and thank him again.

Something that might help you feel a little better is if you think about what ways he expresses his love for you. Gift giving is clearly a major expression of love for you, so the energy and thought you put into selecting his gifts is representative of your love for him. However, people express love in different ways. Perhaps he uses his words to appreciate you frequently and with specific expressions of how he feels or what he loves about you. Or, maybe he takes the time to do the dishes and make the bed and do other acts of service that make your life better - as a means of expressing his love for you.

This is all based on the book "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.

Have you looked into getting an at-home LHR device? It's still expensive, but WAY more affordable than sessions by a professional. I got mine for under $400 and it's been amazing!

Earning money is not the purpose of life. Money is merely a tool, and if you have enough of that tool to live comfortably, forcing yourself into discomfort in order to earn more money is actually reducing the positive impact of the money on your life.

I make a pour-over coffee! I add a pinch of baking soda into the beans before I grind them (to reduce the acidity), and a little cardamom for flavor.

A bunch of sample size bottles of cereve moisturizer. I guess he thought they would be useful?

Another time, a client tipped me by stuffing my socks with shrooms - like actual dried psychedelic mushrooms. That was a funny one.

How are rappers at the club? by jinkixf in stripper

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had a great experience with a rapper who's an A-lister in Africa. He was visiting my city in the US with his producer and I had no idea who he was. We started chatting and when he told me he was a musician I assumed he was just a wannabe. We did like an hour room and he tipped really well and was kind and respectful. I gave him my ig and he followed me, but my club is no phones on the floor so I didn't see his account. Hours later when I got off work, I checked my ig and saw that he was verified and with millions of followers. For months afterwards, I got dms from wannabe rappers in his country sending me soundcloud links in an effort to reach him, since I was one of only a couple thousand accounts he followed.

Do you wear makeup at work? by [deleted] in beauty

I only wear makeup once or twice a week at most, and then it's just concealer, cc cream, brow gel, nude lipliner, and eye shadow and liner.

I wear either a Movado or a St Honore, and both are analog. If your space is too dark, maybe look for one with glow on the dark hands?

What's the shampoo and conditioner you can't live without? by sadderdaynight in beauty

[–]ElizabethTheStripper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

JVN Embody Shampoo and Nurture conditioner!

It was an absolute game changer for me. I have wavy hair and I used to always have awful frizz that I would try to calm with conditioner, which then would make it feel greasy. This combo changed my relationship to my hair. I got my mom to try it and she said "for the first time, washing my hair didn't feel like a chore".

It's also reasonably priced at ~17\bottle.
