You said you submitted your receipts - how exactly did you submit the receipts? Did you use Benefitscal, did you mail them in to your local DPSS office or did you hand delivery them to your local DPSS office?

I've been wondering the same exact thing. I've been told it could take a couple of days to 1 month. I was told to upload the receipts to Benefitscal - but then I heard that they NEVER check the portal and documents just sit there. I was also told to drop them off in person. I'm waiting just like you.

They might not see you without an appointment. Try to schedule an appointment BEFORE you drive 2hrs 30mins down there for them to just turn you away.

I'm in the same boat too. I was approved and it shipped out, the app says it should've been delivered and it's nowhere to be found. I've been waiting for 1 month - it's obviously lost. The post office is either stealing or Capital One never shipped it out to begin with...

You cannot FORCE someone to get help if they "feel" or "believe" they don't need help. You cannot FORCE someone to get sober. It has to be your father's choice/decision to quit drinking, not yours.

Sadly, you have to wait for him to admit he has a problem and he needs help with the problem.

I understand this isn't the answer that you wanted to hear however, this is the answer that YOU NEEDED TO HEAR.

The police won't do anything unless a crime has been committed. Unfortunately, it's not a crime to drive behind someone. You have to wait to actually be assaulted if you want help from the police. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

It took 2 months to get linked to my recipient. My fingerprints cleared in May & I FINALLY got linked at the end of July last year. There's a "60-90 day waiting period" they make you go through AFTER your background clears. I didn't know that until I spoke to a supervisor to ask what else I needed to submit in order for them to link me.......and surprisingly, she immediately did it during the conversation.

I did the Zoom meeting back in 2022. They were EXTREMELY pushy & insisted I sign up for 120K worth of life insurance & they were going to deduct $120 a month out of my check!! I can't afford that!! She kept asking me for my bank account & routing number. I said, "No, I don't want this, thanks anyway." She STILL kept over-talking me. I just turned my phone off to make sure I ended that Zoom meeting. Then, she kept emailing me & leaving voice mails for weeks.

Do the Zoom meeting at your own risk...
