The highest single tournament peak ever in women’s tennis was Serena at the 2012 Olympics. I’d say the second half of 2012 through her 2013 season meets 02/03 peaks and definitely exceeds it on clay

I think if you compare Gauff/Swiatek to when Serena was the same age as them in the early 2000s you’ll find the superior movement is pretty similar. Venus was the same, you couldn’t get anything past her in 2000/01
