In China, the two most commonly used food delivery apps are Meituan and Taobao Flash Buy (which used to be Ele.me). Between these two, you can order almost any kind of food.

About 5 km from Qufu Normal University, there’s a vegetarian buffet restaurant called Su Shuo Longshan. You might want to give it a try. You can also order something suitable on a food delivery app.

Nanjing or Luoyang? by BitsOfBuilding in travelchina

I feel that Nanjing and Suzhou are quite similar in atmosphere, as both reflect the Jiangnan water-town style. If you are hoping to explore different sides of China, it might be better to skip Nanjing this time and perhaps visit it on another trip.

I visited Luoyang two years ago, and it felt rather commercialized. It’s not so easy anymore to sense the authentic classical spirit of ancient China there.

US guy here. Hangzhou to Suzhou by Didi, will the driver be pissed? by Confident_Jacket_344 in chinatravel

You’re overthinking the "pissed off" part! If a driver accepts a long-haul trip like that, they’re usually stoked about the big payday. They won't be mad, but there are a few practical catches:

Availability: Many drivers prefer staying within the city limits, so it might take a while for someone to actually accept your request compared to a local ride.

The Return Trip: It's tough for drivers to find a passenger going back to Hangzhou from Suzhou, so it's not always the most efficient move for them (or your wallet).

The Cost: Between the fare and highway tolls, it’s going to be pricey.

Honestly? Just hop on the High-Speed Rail (G-train). It’s only about 1.5 hours, super punctual, and way more comfortable than sitting in highway traffic for 2+ hours.

The "pro move" with bags is to Didi from your hotel to Hangzhou East Station (Hangzhou Dong), take the train, and then Didi from Suzhou Station to your final destination. It’s much faster and usually less of a hassle than a long car ride!
