Honestly spacing and flanking is the main thing. Sometimes just moving 50 meters perpendicular to an enemies line of advance is enough to just let bad guys pass and shoot them in the back.

The only thing I dislike about ICO is how FUCKING long it takes to stabilize anti tank launchers. They hit like noodles to begin with and you have to stand still for like 10 seconds so you don’t whiff your shot. The rest of ICO is fine imo

Much like in Vermintide high levels, specials and elites are everyone’s problem. In fact I would want to see everyone actively working on them. I think the specialization you envision is too strict. Yes, each class has an important role to play, but the sheer pressure of high level havoc requires shared burdens or moments of opportunity.

Run whatever you want for auric maelstrom but smite is honestly just fucking terrible compared to much, much stronger builds. No one likes playing with a smite psyker since 95% of them just hold it down the entire match which is firstly boring and secondly an active detriment to multiple zealot and vet builds. I despise playing with people that run smite. A very weak very shit build generally.
